As soon as I entered Hogwarts Severus had me taken to the infirmary even after I insisted that I was alright but no one would listen to me.

turns out that man is our new DADA professor, Professor Remus Lupin, but I still couldn't figure out how we knew each other. Turns out the dementors are here to stay, and they will not attack any student unless they get in the creature's way, but that doesn't explain why it came for me. there are too many questions with too few answers and I don't like it one bit.

----------

"What is this class? tea party one-o-one?" Blaise asked looking at the tea cups sitting in front of us, the only this getting me through this stupid class was my friends.

"In this room, you shall explore the noble art of Divination. In this room, you shall discover if you possess the Sight. Hello. I am Professor Trelawney," came the ghostly voice of our professor. "Together we shall cast ourselves into the future. This term, we'll focus on Tasseomancy, the art of reading tea leaves. So please, take the cup of the person sitting opposite you."

Draco and I exchanged cups while Theo and Blaise did the same, each of us preparing to delve into the whimsical world of predicting the future through tea leaves. Meanwhile, Daphne had wisely opted out of this class, a decision that I couldn't help but envy.

"What do you see? The truth lies buried like a sentence deep within a book, waiting to be read. But first, you must broaden your minds. First, you must look beyond." I felt a slight migraine come on.

"What a load of rubbish," Draco exclaimed trying to find a shape within my tea leaves.

"here let me take a look for you dear" Professor Trelawney took my cup from Draco's hand and examined it for a few seconds before smiling. she leaned in and pointed Darco to something.

"see this, my dear, that is a Bouquet it symbolises good luck, including good friends, success, and a happy love life" She then sturs my cup, and her smile falls instantly.

"snakes, they aren't a good omen my dear child" She walks up to me places her hand on my cheek and closes her eyes, after a moment of silence she jolts away from me. fear was clouding her eyes.

"you- you are the snake!" she exclaimed, her voice trembling with fear and uncertainty, without missing a beat midnight who was still one my ears mimicking an earring, hissed at her, sending her scrambling away in fright.

The sudden and unexpected reaction from Midnight caused our entire table to erupt in laughter. Despite the tension that had filled the air moments before, the absurdity of the situation was too much for us to contain our amusement. We exchanged amused glances and chuckled as Professor Trelawney retreated, leaving us with a newfound sense of lightheartedness amidst the eerie atmosphere of our table.

-----------

Pathetic Potter had gotten a grim in his tea leaves, can't have a year without everything being about him, can he?

----------

we were on our way to the forbidden forest and I was telling Daphne about everything that happened during divination.

"I can't believe they have this Oaf teaching classes" Draco mutters to Theo who nods "he is a  grounds keeper for merlines sake!" Draco continues his rant till he is roughly elbowed in his ribs by Weasel. before I knew what was happening I saw right beside Draco's wand in hand but before I could do anything Blaise had caught me holding me back, and Theo was in front of Draco face to face with Weasal.

"shouldn't you be thanking the Oaf? I mean you are getting his old job, Hogwarts ground keeper?" Theo jabbed him with his words, and Goyle pushed the Weasal onto the ground.

"filthy blood traitor" Crabbe snarled at him.

"Hogwarts must be a paradise for you, not you live in a swamp?"

"at least now he will get that hut, must be like moving into a castle right Weasel?" Daphne looked venomous.

"enough all of you"

"look pathetic Potter to the rescue, here to save your damsel in distress potter?"

"shave off Malfoy" he said Malfoy with venom. he then looks at me

"I don't understand why you hang out with them Mara, don't you see they are nothing like us, but we are the same" I just looked at him confused as to what he was going on about.

"Both of our parents were murdered in front of us-" What was it for me, how dare he say that we are the same? I got out of Blaise's grip and pushed Potter to the ground with my foot on him and wand on his neck.

"We are nothing alike," I continued, my tone seething with contempt. "I am the descendant of Salazar himself, a lineage of power and prestige. And you? You are nothing but a mere shadow in comparison, a mere mortal with no claim to greatness. Just because you speak Parseltongue does not elevate you to my level. It is a mere fluke of fate, a triviality that pales in comparison to the grandeur of my heritage." The bitterness in my voice was palpable as I spat out the words, each syllable dripping with disdain.

"Just because you lived, you become a hero?" I scoffed, the bitterness rising within me like bile.

"There is nothing hero-worthy in you. You are nothing more than a walking pity party, basking in the sympathy of others while achieving nothing of true significance. You are a mere footnote in history, a passing fancy that will soon be forgotten." I shove him to the ground with a kick, I was about to kick him again when Draco stopped me.

"That's it, love" The moment he said that all my anger vanished. he guided me with his hand wrapped around my waist, leaving pity Potter and Weasal behind.

we were all now standing at a clearing in the forest waiting for the Oaf to show up.

"Okay, I can't keep pretending," Blaise exclaimed, his frustration evident as he slammed his book onto a nearby rock. We all turned to him, a mixture of confusion and curiosity written on our faces.

"Theo and Daph have an understanding, but you two?" Blaise pointed accusingly at Draco and me. "I see no understanding, and the two of you have been flirting and shit since the train! What is going on?"

"We are dating," Draco stated matter-of-factly, his gaze unwavering.

"Dating?" Blaise echoed, clearly taken aback by the revelation.

"Yeah, also known as courting," Draco added, a hint of amusement in his tone. "Ever heard of that?"

"That's not what I meant, since when?" Blaise's expression was a mix of surprise and disbelief as he turned to me for clarification.

"Since this summer," I replied, trying to convey the seriousness of the situation.

"And I'm just hearing of this?!" Blaise's incredulous tone cut through the air.

"This summer was chaotic, Blaise. It slipped my mind, I'm sorry," I explained, feeling a pang of guilt for not confiding in him sooner. Stepping closer, I wrapped my arms around him in a tight hug, hoping to convey my sincerity and regret.

"what do you mean a chaotic summer" he wrapped an arm around me

"What happened?" he looked in between Draco and me.

"This isn't the time nor the place, we have to talk about this but not now" Blaise just nodded his head not taking his arm off me.
