Being entrusted with his past, Alec had shown immense courage, fully aware of the risks it posed to his hard-earned career. Yet he took that leap of faith, knowing that unveiling his truth to me, Scott, and the world could have jeopardized everything he had worked for. His unwavering trust in us was a profound act of bravery and a testament to the deep bond we shared.

He looked back on his past and realized that it was just a part of his history now. He had come to accept that certain things needed to be let go of before they could take root in a person's mind and personality.

In the following weeks, the film continued to receive rave reviews from critics, moviegoers, and fellow filmmakers. Some of them even reached out to me and Scott, inquiring about our next project. However, we had no immediate plans for another film, especially with my pregnancy.

"I only have a few more months until I give birth. We still haven't settled on a name for our baby boy," I said with excitement.

"What's on your mind? Any ideas?" Scott inquired.

"I'm not sure, Babe. Maybe you should take the lead in naming your firstborn."

"My firstborn," Scott said with a relieved sigh upon hearing the words. "It still feels surreal, doesn't it? I can't quite believe that this is our life now. I'm beyond excited."

“While you're taking a breather from filmmaking, it might be a good time to start considering a name. But hey, I do have a suggestion if you're open to it. ”

I haven't revealed the name I'm considering yet, but I can't help but chuckle. It has always been a cherished aspiration of mine to have a baby boy. As I thought about the idea of Scott becoming a "girl dad," I found it challenging to brainstorm boy names.

In my family, we usually give boys names that carry a Filipino or Spanish influence to ensure the name's legacy is passed down through generations, but this time, I know Scott had a way however he wanted to name our son.

Later that day, Scott was deeply engrossed in scouring the internet for unique names. I couldn't help but feel curious about his choices for our child's name. Leaning in closer, I suggested, "What about Christopher?"

Startled, Scott looked up from the screen and said, "Huh?"

I repeated, "I said, what about 'Christopher' or maybe even 'Keanu'?" I couldn't help but chuckle at some of the names I came across.

"Seriously, babe? I can't picture our son with those names. I mean, can you imagine a little Christopher flying around? And a little Keanu?" Scott laughed incredulously.

"Well, at least all three of you would share something in common," I teased.

"Besides our last names, what could we possibly have in common?" Scott asked, looking amused.

"Your love for the color green... although Christopher might not be on board with that," I joked back.

With laughter, Scott said, "I don't know about you, babe, but at least we're getting closer to finding the right name."

Scott and I had the best time of the night, giggling and tossing around ideas for what to name our little boy. After a while, we decided to see what names were trending online. As we waited for the page to load, Scott managed to tear himself away from the screen and close the laptop.

"What about Luke or Robert?" he suggested.

"Luke, huh? I can already hear you calling him, 'Hey, come over here, my little cowboy, Luke!' Sure, you'll end up going horseback riding at the farm, or yet go bullriding; that's a 'no-no' for me, or yet go to the beach and surf, am I right?" I playfully jabbed.

"You're really cracking me up right now, you know that? But seriously, what do you think?" Scott asked.

"I think Luke is perfect," I replied. "What do you think, Luke Austin Reeves?"

"I love it. I can't wait to finally meet our little bundle of joy, Luke," Scott said, his excitement bubbling over.

Our relationship seemed like smooth sailing as we looked forward to welcoming our baby in just another month. However, unforeseen challenges arose between Scott and me. With Scott frequently away due to prior commitments such as events, promotions, and endorsements, I found myself needing extra support at home.

In response to the strain, my parents stepped in, eager to assist me while Scott's professional obligations kept him busy and away. Despite his assurances to provide for our future, what I truly longed for was his presence and involvement in our child's life, rather than the traditional notion of him solely shouldering the financial responsibility. But one day, Scott's parents came to check on me, hoping that their parenting influence would help improve our strained relationship.

To my disappointment, Scott's father's hostility resurfaced. "You should adhere to these rules instead of trusting your instincts. This is a life you're bringing into the world, not something to take lightly," he admonished.

"Clark, they have their own way of looking after the baby's well-being. It's not our place to interfere with how Danni is managing everything," Jessy interjected.

"Thank you, Jessy. And I apologize, sir, if Scott and I have not followed your instructions for the baby. We are doing our utmost to ensure our baby's health and the health of our relationship. Despite our different cultural backgrounds, we support each other, and you need not look down on my parents."
