Ok what the fuck?

Looking at yet another door in front of you your eye twitched. It wasn't possible, you didn't want to believe it. It was a dream, an illusion. Your eyes fell on the marks carved into the wood of the door. The incisions appeared to be made by a sharp knife all lined up next to each other. One. . .two. . .Three. . .six. . .nine. . .ten. . .

Ten times.

You had passed through this damn door ten times.

And it doesn't matter how long you walked, how many hours you wandered around "I always come back here!" Collapsing on your knees you let out a groan as the door in front of you almost seemed to mock you just with its presence. You glared at it before jumping on your feet and punching it "It's all your fault I know! I bet you're some kind of monster and you're changing my perception of space to keep me from going out!" you grunted continuing to vent your frustration before eventully getting tired. You leaned your forehead on the wood breathing heavily "This is not good. . .this is not good at all. At this rate. . ."

At this rate you will never reach the surface. Time is running out and the situation is getting worse. If you don't reach the outside world and find help then your friend. . . Shaking your head to get rid of that thought you glared at the marks in front of you "Alright you dumb door!" Backing away you took a big breath "You better take me to the surface-" You declared pushing it open with both hands "Or im gonna pulverize you!" Before jumping inside the room hoping that this time it hadn't regurgitated you in some remote corner of the dungeon.

However the scene in front of you wasnt something you expected.

". . ."

". . .uh?"

You eyes met several others who were equally confused as you. Four people stood in front of you, a tall-man, an elf, a dwarf, and a half-foot. You blinked in surprise, quickly turning behind you and noticing with horror that instead of the small door there was now a huge one.

Welp good news the dungeon had listened to you and you werent back at the start of that strange maze.

Bad news?

It looks like you made your ceremonious entrance at a really bad time if those living armors meant anything. And they don't seem to be in a good mood either as one of them raised its sword about to slice the blond elf. You quickly draw your weapon charging toward it "Duck!" you called out in panic and this seemed to snap out at least the shortest member of the group who quickly grabbed the elf's arm dragging her to the ground.

With one slash you sliced off the knight's helmet before quickly grabbing it and slamming it onto another nearby fellow who was a bit too close for your taste. Taking advantage of this distraction the blonde tall-man quickly snatched your shirt dragging you away "Go! Go! Go!" he shouted and you all ran towards the large door before immediately opening and closing it behind you.

A second passed where neither of you five said anything before you let out a sigh of relief as you leaned your back against the door and slid down to sit "That was too close" you breath out. It wasnt your first time fighting monster but this whole ordeal was just unexpected. However at least you found other people. . .Yay?

"They are weirdly stubborn today. Did we annoy them?" asked the blondie, who snatched you before, turning toward his elf companion who shook her head "Not possible. They dont get sick or moody. They cant. They just follow the orders they are given. That means that we will be free to go if we defeat their controller but. . ." she muttered looking troubled. "Is there really someone who is controlling them?" you mumbled putting an hand on your chin. You have never met a living armor before but you have heard stories about them. Not gonna lie, you always thought that they were controlled by spirits more than magic.
