You. . . .and you?♠︎♠︎♠︎♠︎♠︎♠︎♠︎♠︎♠︎♠︎♠︎♠︎♠︎♠︎♠︎♠︎♠︎♠︎♠︎♠︎♠︎♠︎♠︎♠︎♠︎♠︎
"It took us forever to find the stairs leading back up. . .but just as soon as we decided to continue on, we find these stairs leading down. . ." Chilchuck swallowed looking down at the stairs he just happened to stumble on. He didn't like the implications that the dungeon was giving "I've got a bad feeling about this. . .a really bad feeling" he muttered, eyes falling on the obvious blood trail that went deeper and deeper in the sewer.
Laios crunched down and touched the red liquid with his fingers "It hasn't dried yet. Falin must have passed through this way very recently and headed down to a lower level." He hummed, standing up once again. Your little party made it's way down the stairs with your leader letting out a disappointed sigh "I really don't like the sixth level, so I'm not really looking forward to this. . ."
Senshi shot a curious look in Laios's direction. He never ventured deeper than the fourth, or sometimes fifth, level so the dwarf didn't know what he should expect from now on "Why don't ye like it?" He asked the paladin in front of him who simply let out another sigh "It's just so hot–"
A strong wind suddenly ruffled Laios's blonde locks, making the leader stop in his tracks at the sudden change of temperature. Cold air bit his exposed skin as snowflakes fell on your figures, limiting your line of vision. Yea. . .this sure looks like an extremely hot environment.
"It's freezing!" Whined Chilchuck hugging himself closer, searching that little warm he had in his small body. You shivered at the cold of the waterway, feeling the wind annoyingly messing your hair and clothes. Laios looked around, extremely confused by this new development "The sixth level is suppose to be hot and humid. . .did we end up somewhere else?" He rubbed his hand together watching as a cloud of cold air came out from his lips everytime he breathed.
Trembling Chilchuck shook his head "No. . .I remember this path. There no doubt in my mind. This floor is were the dragon attacked us. . .and where we were almost wiped out" he sighed taking his neck warmer and raising it to cover his face from the storm "Well this is a dungeon where floors and walls can move around. It's not a big surprise if the temperature ends up changing too"
Laios hummed before letting out a sigh as his eyes trailed down to the ground, the snow is already covering every trace left behind by his sister. This is not good. "For now let's go to the spot where we were almost wiped out before. If the cleaners haven't eaten them already, we might be able to get our things that were left behind"
Lifting up your hoodie, until il covered your head, you kept your cloak close to yourself hoping to not end up sick. Now that you were thinking about it. . .if you guys keep going deeper and deeper in the dungeon maybe you will have to occasion to stumble in the Golden Kingdom. . .ironic because you are trying your best to not be sent back there.
"By the way" Chilchuck's voice attracted your attention making your head turn toward him "You did a good job bluffing back there, but I hope you have come up with some kind of plan" his word turned a switch in your brain, suddenly remembered the ABSURD declaration that your blonde leader promised to do in order to get Falin back.
Laios sweatdropped at the mention of his previous words. He could feel you heated glare in the back of his head and had to stop himself from shivering. He knows how much risky was proposing something like, especially in your presence, but he had to convince Shuro of his plan somehow!
Please ____ forgive me! I swear it's not how it looks!
"Well. . ." Laios turned around observing his party with a serious look before suddenly pointing at you with his finger "We are gonna use ____!"
". . ." The rest of the team blinked at his words, slowly looking from you back to their leader.
"Wait what?!" You eyes widened as you pointed at yourself and turned toward him.
"Are you planning to use ____ as bargain chip!?" Shouted Chilkchuk in disbelief. Sure you had made a big mistake and didn't tell them vital informations but he doesn't want to deliver you to the mad mage with a nice bow in your hair! "Are you crazy!? I want Falin back too but we can't give ____ away! We just got them back!" Shouted Marcille waving her staff angrily toward the blonde boy. Senshi crossed his arms, raising an eyebrow in disappointment "Aren't they like. . .trying to NOT get caught?"
Laios's paled at the accusations of his friends, immediately waving his hands in the air "No! No! No! What are guys thinking?!" He shouted, completely appalled "What I mean is that we won't have to fight him with ____ here!" He said, placing his hands on your shoulders and bringing your body closer to his "They are his friend no? And from what they said it looks like ancient magic messed him up or something."
You looked at him, listening close to his words with a bewildered but at the same time touched light in your eyes "If in some way we can convince him to throw that book away, and ____ is able to bring him back, then I'm sure he will realize what he has done to my sister is wrong and will bring her back! Done! No one got hurt! We got Falin back and ____ got their friend back too!"
You almost breath out a disbelieved chuckle at the overly joyed expression in his features. You highly doubts that it will ever be as easy as he put it but it's a start. You guys can think of the details more in the future.
Chilchuck, Marcille and Senshi let out a relieved sigh once Laios explained himself "Oh thank god you weren't try to sell ____ away" they all said at the same time
"WHY WOULD I DO SOMETHING LIKE THAT?!
Laios looked away, a tear threatening to fall down his eye. Do his friends really held so little trust in him?
"But I'm sure I'm not the only person who Falin is looking for" you sighed, scratching your cheek "Oh right. I heard her mentioning a certain Delgal. He was the person Thistle ordered the red dragon to search" agreed Laios thinking back at the whole ordeal. Hearing his Majesty name you couldn't help a smirk growing on your lips. Hearing all the praises and how much his name was famous even after thousand years later always make your knight heart proud.
You owned him your life after all, so it was always nice to hear good things about him.
Though, after disappearing six years ago, you kinda miss him. . .no wonder Thistle went all crazy.
"That's right. When this dungeon was discovered, King Delgal appeared at the surface. . .then crumbled to dust and vanished. . ." Laios hummed before a sudden *clang* reached his and everyone's ears. Turning around in alert their gaze fell on your frozen figure. Phlox was laying at your feet while you looked at them with bloodshot eyes, an horrified expression painted your features as you tried to process his words "H-His Majesty. . ."
