You and Kabru hadn't gotten very far before your wrists were bound by a magic seal. It all happened so fast, one second you were running like crazy looking for a way out of this maze and the next the tinkling of bells reached your ears as you felt your legs turn to jelly. Then, before you could snap them out, something huge and hairy had jumped on you, pinning you to the ground.
When you opened your eyes you almost had a heart attack, a few inches from your face was the muzzle of what you could define as a wolf. And knowing your bad childhood experience with large dogs you could count on it that you were holding your breath as you watched the rest of the elves catch up with you.
Kabru was already in handcuffs.
"Goddamn. . .you run really fast for a tall-man" Fleki huffed and puffed leaning over Otta to catch her breath "Cithis' bells barely reached you and we needed Lycion to transform to catch up to you" the humanoid wolf above you began to shift back into his original form. Now pinning you down was the elf you had seen when Mithrun had turned on the teleportation link.
Your eyes met Kabru's with a clear undertone of confusion. All he signaled to you was a shake of the head, which meant that for now you had to do as the Canaries wanted. So you let out a deep sigh, bringing your wrists together in the air.
Soon after you felt the magic bound them together and Lycion remove himself from on top of you.
You were so close to reuniting with your party but apparently the elves had other plans.

Immediately after your and Kabru's capture, you were both subjected to interrogation by Vice Captain Pattadol and Mithrun's criminal, Cithis Ofri. For the most part you had let Kabru do the talking since he was the best when it came to these things (also because he had practically begged you with his eyes not to mess up. These elves were not like Mithrun)
