It was as if in an instant the adrenaline that was pushing you forward had been completely sucked out of your veins, leaving you with a feeling of emptiness inside. Sliding down from Winged Laios you let yourself fall onto your ass. Your eyes watched the expanse of water stretch out before your eyes, your mouth was wide open as the smell of the sea invaded your nostrils after such a long time.

The sky was so clear and bright, the sun hurt your eyes, unlike the fake one in the Golden Kingdom. This is the real sky. . .this is the surface. . .

You heard your friends let out horrified gasps at the prospect of what the demon would do while you could do nothing but keep your gaze pinned on him. After a few seconds, where nothing happened, Marcille opened one eye in confusion "What happened?" she asked looking around. Senshi nudged her, pointing with his finger at the people down below in the dungeon.

"Time froze for everyone?" You heard Senshi's shocked voice and your heart stopped. Can there really be a creature capable of stopping TIME itself!? A conception created by humans and not actually existing?! "What the fuck have you done?" Winged Laios grinned down at you, his pupils now distorted into an upside-down infinity "The time has finally come to bring everyone here back to my world"

He lifted a hand toward the sky, his voice excited and powerful "From now on, nobody ever has to die! In a world where the infinite exists, everyone's desires will never cease to be granted!" Then he leaned down, playfully bopping your nose, which earned a glare from you and a chuckle from him "There's a bit of disappointing new, I'm afraid. I'm going to have to leave you all behind. It was part of my deal with Laios after all. . .you will have to live out the rest of your lives in this world"

After that he lifted his hand back to the sky with a content smile, closing his eyes "Let us set forth!" He dragged a finger into the sky from which, in a way that went against all logic, a cut formed. From it appeared bony fingers, which grabbed the sides of the cut and began to widen it until it created a huge rip, presumably towards the other world. In its entirety, from the black sea, only a myriad of eyes with pupils shaped like inverse infinity were visible.

A third hand reached out from the hole and lowered into the dungeon before grabbing Namari with its skinny fingers and lifting her into the sky and throwing her into the hole, disappearing from your sight. Myriad more hands appeared, reaching out to the rest of the adventurers and orcs before grabbing them.

You brought a hand to your mouth in horror, the sight of such a thing accentuated by the maniacal laughter of the demon in the background "The time is upon us! Let us commence a bountiful banquet for all eternity!"

Out of nowhere a claw wrapped itself around Winged Laios, stopping his laughter abruptly. You blinked in confusion, watching as the demon was lifted up and brought into the vicinity of three drooling monster's heads, a rhinoceros, a wolf and an eagle. ". . .Huh?"

Monster Laios stared down at his own body, an hungry look in his eyes as saliva dripped down his mouths "Wait. . .wait, wait, wait" Winged Laios blurred out, deadpanning "Your dream of becoming a monster finally comes true, and the first thing you want to experience is human flesh?" The monster ignored him, sniffing his body like a candy "Aren't there any other things you would rather doing?"
