“Wait, you are telling me that you have eaten a slime?”

The orcs were kind enough to show your party the last location the dragon was spotted on. It seemed to be chilling like, two floors below so you guys immediately got ready. After binding goodbye to the orcs you and the others quickly made your way toward the place circled by Zon (The leader of the orcs. Yea you totally didn't forget to ask his name before resuming your journey. Totally not.)

“Yes, it was delicious! So chewy and surprisingly fresh! Maybe Senshi still had some of it”

Beside you Marcile stuck out her tongue in disgust. Her encounter with slimes hasnt been. . .the best to say the least. The last thing she wanted to do was put them inside her mouth. . .again. Even if they were unfortunately delicious. Her eyes trained toward your figure and that of her leader, noticing with horror that you looked a bit too interested on the topic of monsters.

“Oh no!” she exclaimed, quickly putting her hands on your shoulders and pushing you away “Our party will NOT have another monster maniac!” she gave a dirty look toward the blonde boy keeping a tight grip on you.

Laios tilted his head confused.

Turning around a corner, Chilchuck let out a low “Oh. . .” at the sight of dead bodies laying around the floor “Somebody got wiped here” he warned pointing at the massacre. Seeing the deceased adventurers your expression turned grim. Its not your first time stumbling into dead people but that doesn't make it less depressing. “Oh damn. . .”

The party was composed of six adventures, from the look of it two of them were tall-mans, one a blonde dwarf, a gnome, a half-foot and a dog (or maybe they were a wolf). Either way they definitely didn't look good.

“It looks like they were headed back to town too. Poor things” Marcille muttered in pity, observing the party you stumbled on. Laios looked around warily “I dont see many wounds. Was it a spirit attack?”

“A spirit attack?” you asked, your tone filled with confusion.

“Maybe they starved?”

“I bet they fought over money”

Taking out her staff, the elf approached one of the bodies “The corpse retrievers should find them soon. . .” she opened a book before crouching down “. . .but I will pray for them so they dont turn into zombies” nodding the remaining part of the party examined the rest of the murder scene in search of any clue toward on who or what could be the culprit for such devastation.

You walked near one of the tall-man observing him, he had a dark complex with short fluffy black hair, his  outfit was similar to that of Laios, the typical knight's armor. He must be the leader, he definitely have the look of one. Crouching down you tilted his limp head, his skin was cold as ice so yea, they were definitely dead. You looked at the pretty girl next to him, she also looked quite out of it. What a shame. A sudden rattle snapped your attention behind you.

Laios wore a troubled expression, his hand on his sword. His gaze was pointed to the jewels laying around the floor, his hand trembled again before suddenly drawing out his sword. Another rattle made you turn your head back toward the pretty black haired boy. A caution light flashed into your eyes as you looked at the coin lying comfortably in his chest.
