It was no news that Kabru was a mastermind when it comes to reading people. It was his favorite hobby after all. He knew pretty much everything about everyone, his teammates were the easiest to read. They were always with him so he could easily pick up every new detail. With Shuro's party it had been a little more difficult but thanks to the fact that the samurai was previously in Laios's party, and thanks to Rin's information, Kabru had quickly managed to get an overall picture of each individual member.

You however. . .

You were, as Kabru liked to say, an open book but with no words written on it. And this bothered the blue-eyed boy immensely. Not having any background informations, he needed to retrieve them in person during the short trip you were taking together. But even this seemed to be a difficult feat in itself. Kabru had tried a lot of times to start a conversation in search for any information on you and, even if at first you humored him, in the end he always couldn't get anything but poor results.

You were too worried about finding Laios and his party.

Kabru could feel himself almost let out a deep exasperated sigh. This was the Laios situation all over again. And it was driving him crazy.

You were so open yet so secretive at the same time.

What was your favorite color? Where did you come from? How did you meet Laios? What were you doing inside the dungeon? What was your last name? Your favourite food? Favorite drink? Social security number!? He. Didn't. Know! How!?

No ok, take a deep breath Kabru. What had he managed to find so far? From your physical appearance you must be more or less his age. You are not scared of the dungeon and you know how to navigate it quite well, this means that you must have spent quite a bit of time in it. At one point you mentioned the name of someone he didn't remember being in Laios' party, so he is either the dwarf or another person who previously traveled with you. The reasons why you two are no longer together are a mystery to him.

You are really skilled with the sword so you must have previously trained in the army. However you are never the first to attack, preferring to act as a shield for weaker members. You almost have a knight behavior. Yet when needed you know how to get the lead and bark orders efficiently, taking full advantage of the little information you knew about his teammates. Not gonna lie, at first he thought you were rather clumsy and airhead person. And you are. So imagine his surprise when you were able to take the whole hydra situation with so much seriousness and coldness.

In contrast however you suck with anything that has to do with magic, if you tried to do even simple spells you ended up having terrible mana sickness. This information could only make him remember your first meeting.

The situation must have been really dire if you had to use magic to escape, knowing its effects.

What kind of monster was here that almost killed you? Someone who was able to defeat an hydra?

Dread was starting to form in the pit of his stomatch.
