Peaking inside the tower you noticed with extreme displeasure how the plants you had previously cut had already grown. . .damn tentaclus. “Are we sure it's safe to pass this way?” asked Holm, grimacing at the sight of all those stinging plants. "Ohhhh! They looks so pretty!" mused Tade, reaching out towards the tentaclus only for her hand to be slapped away by Maizuru who scolded the ogre with a frown "Dont touch them"

Thanks to the light created by Rin, Kabru also looked inside the tower, taking in its interior "You said that by passing through here we will reach the fifth level faster, right?" he mused, addressing you who just nodded "Exactly, it's a shortcut that Laios's party and I used before" the blue-eyed boy hummed, turning his head in your direction "And how did you guys figure it out?"

You thought back to Zon and his clan of orcs "A friend of mine showed us this path" was your short response. Kabru nodded, taking in your information "Is that so?"

"That doesn't change the fact that it's still a dangerous looking route" Mickbell pointed out, poking one of the plants with a knife "How on earth did you get through the first time?" With a deep sigh memories of the uncomfortable frog suit resurfaced, causing a shiver to run down your spine. No. You won't use them again, not even dead. Also because you don't believe that inside that tower there were enough frogs to sew a suit for everyone. You guys were thirteen adventurers. . .where do you find thirteen frogs!? 

"We just cut our way until we were at the bottom. . .but it seems that tentaclus have extremely rapid regeneration" you sighed, rubbing the back of your neck. Without saying a word Shuro passed by you, unsheathing his katana and starting to make his way through the vegetation "It doesn't matter. If this way we will reach Falin faster, so be it." Maizuru immediately followed behind him, all worried that the plants might accidentally sting the 'young master' and making sure that he didn't get hurt. Taking Phox out you followed them "Be careful of the traps inside the walls and the giant frogs. They have a habit of stealing weapons and throw them into the void"

It definitely took way longer than the first time but you finally managed to reach the fifth level without encountering too many problems "Here we go" you said taking a step inside the familiar town. Like a switch your demeanor changed slightly, your posture became more rigid and there was a slight tone of concern in your voice. All small changes that neither parties noticed, except for a certain someone.

"Wow. . .so this is the fifth level?" Daya breathed out, surveying the place with wonder "It has quite a menacing aura. . ." said Rin, rubbing her arm with her hand. Shuro's party seemed pretty unimpressed however. "Lets go" he simply said, walking in a random direction. You shared a look with Kabru's party and they just shrugged their shoulders not knowing what was his deal either. "Where was Falin last time you saw her?" you slightly jumped when the samurai called you "Uh. . .It should be this way. Follow me"

You walked around the town, trying to remember which route you had taken previously. . .yet everything looked different! Not only you had to look out for Thistle but now the town is also mocking you!? Can the layout of a whole ass town just change overnight!? Are you tripping?! Are this still the effects of mana sickness?!

Uh-Oh. . .you are starting to have war flashback from the maze you were previously trapped in. . .

"So? When are we gonna arrive?" asked Mickbell, crossing his arms, impatient with your lack of orientation. Fumbling around your head snapped in between two streets you SWEAR weren't there a second ago. You were sure that you had passed through that street just thirty minutes ago and those two streets were only ONE! "I-. . .I don't understand. . ." you mumbled, looking pretty much at the verge of a breakdown. You are genuinely starting to question your own sanity.
