Losing consciousness is never fun, not that there are many things that Mithrun enjoys per se. But being out of action in this case is the last thing the Canaries need . . .and apparently they had lost about half a day. Which was a disaster because by the time they came to, the entire dungeon layout had been completely changed.

As he left Thistle's house his black eye fell on an unknown man, a knight in armor probably, tied up like a salami and unconscious. The signs of battle were evident on his body and a quick glance at Lycion was enough to tell him that the two had fought. "Oh, captain!" Pattadol called him, running towards him with a worried expression "You really shouldn't be up yet. . ."

"[No, we need him moving!]" Flamela's voice made the vice-captain jump and she turned to her fairy, from which orders were coming out one after the other "[Find the dungeon lord. Then stop them! Even if it kills you too!!]" She shouted, clearly pissed off with this whole situation "[Don't screw up this time!]" and with that final warning the communication went dead leaving the elf team with only one remaining mission. Stop the dungeon lord.

"This dungeon is huge, though, where should we start our search?" Pattadol wondered, looking at the expansion of the dungeon that stretched for miles and miles, with no apparent end. "We won't have to. If they're heading for the surface they're bound to pass through here" Mithrun bluntly said, walking over the edge of the cliff before lifting his arm and pointing toward the portico "Look"

The sound of heavy footsteps could be heard in the distance, like the beating of a heart the earth shook beneath everyone's feet. From the arches of the portico hordes of monsters, dryads, dragons, ghosts, dullahan and bicorns showed themselves to the world. Like puppets, the monsters advanced, their sole goal: to frighten and drive away any intruder who dares block their path. At the head of the advance your body emerged, a cold expression stitched on your features. You looked up, your eyes immediately falling on the remaining Canaries team, your pupils swirling until they became an infinite upside down.

You took a step forward, your boot touching the surface of the water without sinking into oblivion. Below you a winged snake swam in circles before leaping out of the water and forming a small shower as its huge body made contact with the surface of the lake once again. Not bothered by the sensation of the cold drops hitting your face you continued to advance, signaling your army to stand by and await further orders.

Mithrun watched you from across the pond as his squad behind him prepared for the inevitable clash. After a few meters you stopped before taking a deep breath "Listen to me carefully! Cease all conflict and retreat! I will not repeat this a second time" you shouted at the top of your lungs, so that the message could be clear "I am granting you the opportunity to return home to your loved ones. Return to the surface! All of you! Leave this place and never return"

Beneath everyone's feet the sea serpent continued to swim, twisting its body as if it were a ballerina. Mithrun breathed out through his nose, his eyebrows furrowed in a perpetual frown as his fists tightened. He had no idea what the demon had fed you but it was clear that the situation was drastically dire. "Drop the tome _____! And there will be no need for conflict!" he shouted, his voice low and raspy. Your eyes watched the elves with an uncharacteristically cold undertone, before you closed them softly and a small smile broke on your lips. "So you won't go away on your own, huh?"
