*Well, okay. I was trying to make a lot of chapters and update every two days if it was possible. However, my brain does not work like that. It is not a chapter-producing factory. I apologize. Anyway, here's the next chapter. Recap, just so it's clear. Ian and Nina are not actually fighting. It's just a misunderstanding. Still, you know how the Nina and the Ian in this story blow things out of proportion. Hope you like it! Also, the title is inspired by a Tori Kelly-Ed Sheeran song off of Tori's new album, Unbreakable Smile. You guys should give it a listen. All the songs are amazing <3 Tori is Queen!*

Nina's POV

"Are you sure you still want to come?" Bolton asked, opening the car door for me.

I look up at the penthouse window one more time, hoping that Ian would look down and say he was being crazy.

No sign of him.

I swallowed hard and looked back at Bolton. "Of course," I said. "I want to see everyone again. If Ian isn't... comfortable with that and doesn't want to tag along, it's perfectly okay. We can talk later." I get inside the car and Bolton closes the door. He runs over to the driver side and slides in. He revs up the engine and starts driving.

"You know that he's only thinking about the two of you," he said. "I mean, the guy can be a bit hot-headed, but he's only looking out for you. He's looking out for everyone."

"Am I crazy if I said that I want him to tone that down a bit?" I asked.

"If I gave you an honest answer, you might not speak to me the entire time we're there," he said. "Besides, we shouldn't be talking about this anymore. We should be focusing on Dana and Dean. They're about to get married."

"And they don't even know that I'm coming to their party," I said. I fiddled with my fingers worriedly. "What if they kick me out?"

Bolton snuck a glance at me and rolled his eyes. "You are being crazy," he said. "Dana and Dean love you. There is no way in hell that they would kick you out. Why would they even do that?"

"Because I'm a crasher," I said. "I wasn't even formally invited."

"We went over this," he said. "I told you that the only reason why they haven't invited you, is because they don't know where to send it and whether or not you would have time to spare for them."

I bit my lip and ran my hand through my hair. "I'm nervous," I said.

"Yeah, I kinda detected that," he snickered, taking my hand. He shook it and cracked my knuckles. It's what he used to do whenever I got nervous. "Better?"

I nodded and shook my shoulders. Bolton gave my fingers one last squeeze and let my hand go, focusing on the road. I brought out my phone, just to check if Ian texted me.

There wasn't even one message.

I shoved it back in my purse and looked out the window. I don't know if I messed everything up again for the nth time, but I wasn't about to give up the chance to see the people I left behind.

Ian was just going to have to respect that.

"We're two minutes away," Bolton declared. "You can still back out, you know."

I looked at him and said, "The hell are you saying that for? Now you're telling me that I can back out? I mean, I just-."

"KOKO. Relax," he said. "I was making a funny. It failed apparently."

I rolled my eyes and punched him in the arm. "That was not a funny at all."

"I know," he answered. "I told you I suck at being funny."
