*So, yeah. I decided to update again. Aaaaaand, well I love you people oh so super-duper, ultra mega supercalifragilisticexpialidociously!
Nina's POV
"So, did you study the scenes for this episode well enough?" Zee asked, smoothing down my dress. "I mean, I believe in your talent and everything, doll. But..."
"But you think I'm going to creat a catastrophe because I have every scene with Ian?" I asked, crossing my arms over my chest.
He slapped my arms and groaned, "No wrinkling the fabric!"
I held my arms up in surrender and sighed. I looked down on my dress and rolled my eyes. It was exactly like the dress I wore at Coachella. With IAN. "Why do I have to wear such a... nostalgic dress? Do you understand how weirdly the same this dress is with -."
"Neens, calm down," Zee sighed. "I know, I saw the dress. I saw it on you at Coachella. That's why I chose it."
"Explain?"
"Because the scene is supposed to be nostalgic, right?" Zee said. "It's supposed to make you feel like the past is coming back."
I rolled my eyes at him and shrugged. "Right," I said.
Too bad the first scene had to be when Harry comes back into town after ten years and Lexi sees him by their old hangout, way back when they were kids.
"Is he here yet?" I asked Zee.
"He's been here a few hours before you," Zee said, untangling strands of my hair from the necklace. He checked his watch and yelped. "Oh my God, honey! Let's go, let's go, let's go!"
He began pushing me out of the dressing room tent and pushed me towards the set. We were outside the studio, in a children's playground with a tall oak tree, a sandbox, a swing swet, a slide and a see-saw.
Before I could look back and run away, Ian was standing there, looking utterly gorgeous.
He had a slight grin on his face while he reread some parts of the script. He had his makeup artist patting the space between his eyebrows and he laughed.
Now, I'm thinking about dying.
"Nina, dear, come on over here!" Clive Burton yelled, rushing towards me. "I love that dress on you, it's gorgeous."
I tried to force a smile as he took my hand. He led me to the set and yelled, "Ian, darling. Nina's here, so we can start."
I could see Ian stiffen, but look up and try to smile. He looked at me with his blue eyes and I tried to give him a smile too.
We stood in silence as everyone just stared at the two of us. Clive cleared his throat and clapped his hands together.
"So, you both know the scene, right?" he asked, rubbing his palms together.
"Yeah," Ian and I said at once.
We looked at each other and for a fraction of a second, it was like we were back to normal. Ian wouldn't break off the stare, so I did.
Clive grinned at me and winked, before taking a seat on his Director's Chair. "Last minute to fix up everybody!" he yelled loudly. "Come on, come on!"
Our makeup artists did final touches and everyone ran manically around the set. I cleared my throat and looked at Ian.
"Hey," he said hesitantly.
I just gave him a slight nod and smile. "Hi," I said.
He smiled and nodded back.
