*Hi guys! :DD I wanted to update as soon as possible to make up for the awful long time I made you wait -.-" haha. So, anyways, this is still set in Manila. Specifically, in the Penthouse of the Manila Hotel. The hotel is totes gorg, BTW. I can't even haha. Anyway, this is a really special chapter, okay? With love and other super cheesy yet super true stuff, Camille!*
Nina's POV
"Do you actually think it would be that bad?" I asked Ashley, taking a sip from my martini. Ashley widened her eyes and then glared at me. "What?"
"Neens, are you freakin' kidding?" Maggie sighed, taking a sip from her mojito. "Of course it would be that bad."
"But, it's one night," I sighed. "And I already told him we weren't here for ourselves. We were here to help and be there for these people."
"Nina, that's exactly it," Ashley sighed. "It's ONLY one night left of freedom to actually do something together. We'd all be in Tacloban for a week, probably staying VERY close together. Plus, we'd all be too occupied to have any private time."
I took another sip from my drink and finally realized how awkward this situation was. Three of Ian's ex-girlfriends: one remains his best friend, the other his co-worker, and the last, his girlfriend again, talking about whether it would be appropriate to maybe... have a little fun with Ian in the Penthouse tonight.
"This is really awkward," I said aloud. The two of them looked at me and we all erupted in a fit of laughter.
"Oh, that is a major understatement, love," Maggie said. "Just imagine how the guys are handling THEIR time together."
"Right," Ashley said. "I wasn't actually expecting Clive to NOT know the line-up he was casting. Seriously? It was like he was looking through yours and Ian's ex-books."
I laughed and said, "Yeah, that's what I thought at first too."
"But honestly, I think dating the same guy puts us in this weird connection-bond thing," Maggie said.
"Same here," Ashley said. "I mean, honestly at first, I thought it was going to be this huge trainwreck, but I was wrong. I'm actually having some fun."
"Of course you are," I said. "The current girlfriend asks the two former girlfriends if she should actually have sex tonight with her boyfriend who was both their ex. It's a really fun conversation. Not awkward AT ALL. If we could tweet about this, I bet you it would be trending."
Ashley raised her eyebrow at me and said, "Hey, it's not awkward. It's realistic."
"How is this realistic?" I laughed. "If it were, you'd actually be appalled by the thought and Maggie would probably shove my drink down my throat."
"Okay fine," she said. "It's not realistic. But, come on. We're way past this whole 'All of us are Ian's exes' thing. You're the current girlfriend, and it's pretty obvious that you two have an undying sexual flame just waiting to be rekindled SOON."
"All we're saying is that if there would be a time to try it out again," Maggie said. "It would be now, hon. The two of you are in a gorgeous hotel room, all alone on your private floor. You have all the freedom to do this tonight. Actually, I don't understand why you're here with us and he's out with Ben and Evan either."
"I know, I know," I said. "But I mean, seriously? Do you think it would be THAT bad if I didn't sleep with Ian tonight? I mean, it's not like he's going to die if we don't do it tonight."
"He might not die, Nina," Ashley said. "But he's still a guy. I know he's been way patient with you, but come on. Don't you want it to?"
I bit down on my lip and looked at the two of them. "This is way too stressful."
