*So, I'm basically swamped. I have two weeks left before it all goes down. Sorry for the long wait. Anyway, it's almost time to end this story. I just hope you aren't bored with it yet. In love with Zara Larsson. Also, Rita Ora's Body on Me. Not sure if I prefer the Chris Brown version or the Fetty Wap one. It's a good song. Congratulations to the winners of the AMAs <3 The Weeknd is my fave, still. Also, everyone was raving about Sam Smith's concert. I hate everything right now. Ugh. By the way, much love because Christmas is almost here.*
Nina's POV
As soon as I slammed the door on Ian, I knew I was going to regret it again. I bit my lip and made my way out of his house, slamming the front door as well. I shielded my eyes and ran out to my car, thankful that there were no cameras anywhere.
I got in and revved up the engine, just as I noticed Ian bursting out of his house. I wanted to stop the car and just kiss him in plain sight.
That's what I wanted.
But I can't have it. Because if I screw her over, everyone else is going to take the hit.
I began driving, until I was pretty sure I would not look back anymore. I could suddenly feel my head spinning, perhaps because of the craziness that went on inside Ian's house. Before I knew it, I was in front of the hospital.
Several paparazzi were outside, but I learned to park my car in the service elevator area. I turned off my engine and parked my car right behind the hulking building of the hospital. As soon as I stepped out, one of the delivery guys smiled at me and gave me the thumbs up. I'm pretty sure his name was Chris.
I stepped out of my car and walked towards him. "Can I use the elevator?" I asked.
"Please Nina. You don't have to ask permission. Go on ahead," he said. I smiled and thanked him. Before I could walk away, he said, "I saw him walk in the garden today. I guess he's feeling some sort of happy."
I turned back and smiled at him. "Let's hope so."
"Nah, I know it," he said, smiling brightly.
"Don't let me keep you. Don't worry, we'll watch over your car. No paparazzi's gonna get in there, Nina."
I smile and say, "Thanks, Chris."
He smirks and says, "Anytime."
"That is your name, right?" I asked, trying not to seem like a complete ditz.
"Christian, actually," he said. "I respond to Ian, though. But, if you want to call me Chris, that's completely fine too."
I shake my head. "Chris suits you," I said, trying to remove the bitter taste I had going on in my mouth.
"Thank you," he said. "Well anyway, I'll get back to work. Take care."
I nod and make my way inside the service elevator with a few of the delivery guys who made some space for me. They looked at me and without even asking, pushed the button to Derek's floor.
As soon as it started to move, I began feeling a bit queasy. Like I stood up to soon after sitting for three hours. I closed my eyes and leaned against the elevator wall.
I crossed my arms over my chest and waited for the elevator to open up. As soon as it did, I quickly got out and walked to Derek's room.
Before I could get inside, someone called out to me. I turned around and saw Rob, looking really worried and a bit pissed off.
"Rob, hey!" I said. "What's wrong? What's going on?"
"Listen, I don't want you to worry or anything," he said. "But I should just warn you that Nicky is in there with him."
