Nina's POV

I got into the waiting SUV, flanked by Candice, Kat and three bodyguards they hired for me. I closed the door behind me, leaving the sea of 'NIan' questions behind.

I pushed up my Aviators and scoffed. "This is way more publicity than when Ian and I admitted that we were going out," I groaned. "Is breaking up better than being together?"

Candice grinned. "And finally she asks herself the golden question," she smiled. "I don't know Nina, what do you think?"

I crossed my arms over my chest and rested my head on the window. "I just don't know why I had to be the girl who broke up with Mr. 'More than Perfect' Ian Somerhalder. I know I don't deserve that."

Kat and Candice shrug and keep quiet for the rest of the ride, leaving me with my thoughts for the good part of half an hour. I just didn't want to relive that painful moment when I chose to let Ian go. I knew I told everyone it was because he cheated on me with Ashley.

But, what no one knew was that I was just scared. Scared of disappointing Ian.

"Nina! Nina! Over here!" They all yelled as I stepped out of the car. I rushed inside the studio and got into hair and makeup.

As soon as I got into the crowded room, every head turned my way. I knew it wasn't right to stare, but apparently, that didn't apply to me. Thankfully, they all stopped and came towards me, giving me tight hugs and pats.

Chloe, my hair and make-up artist, rushed towards me and kissed me on both cheeks. "Aww, Nina," she sighed. "Don't worry. Just smile and act like whatever they say doesn't matter."

"They don't matter," I grin. "Besides, it will be over before we know it."

They all smile at me pitifully. "Maybe, they'll be more interested in your new movies or your new projects or something," Shey, another make-up artist said.

I looked at her sadly. "I'm guessing they'll be nowhere near interested in anything else but the breakup."

They all agreed reluctantly. "Sorry bout that hon," Chloe sighed. "We must admit we are guilty of being curious as well."

I shrugged. "I guess you guys just have to wait like everybody else."

They all groaned and went back to what they were doing. I kept quite the whole time I was there, only responding to Chloe's instructions as she did my makeup.

"And done," she finishes. She gives my cheeks one more dust of a brush and sets it down. "You are stunning, as usual."

I just grin stiffly. "Thank you."

I stand up, say my goodbyes and walk in to the wardrobe area. There, I was greeted by Zee, my stylist. He had his arms open wide, ready to hug me tight.

"Don't worry about them sweetie," he sighed. "You are more gorgeous than they will ever be."

I grinned and gave his cheek a kiss. "So, what will I be wearing to my execution?"

He rolled his eyes and began to grab random things from the rack. He handed me each item and pushed me towards the dressing room.

A few minutes, I stepped out and faced the mirror. Here I was, Nina Dobrev, in a black brassiere style top, a black cardigan, light green skinny jeans, black open-toed booties and a few accessories.
