*Hi guys. So, I know most of you might've hated the latest update. I'm really sorry for that. I didn't know how to convince Ian in another way. Obviously, someone had to tell him he couldn't waste this chance, right? And, it didn't have to be anyone in the TVD family or anyone real for that matter. I hope some of you liked it tho :"> love you all! :))*

Nina's POV

"So, am I allowed to travel on an airplane now?" I asked my therapist, Dr. Woods. "Because that's the only way I'm getting to the Philippines."

She smirked and said, "Nina. The only thing holding you back from air travel, is your own fear. If you didn't end up in that plane crash, you probably won't be here asking me that."

"But, won't being on the plane spark up some trauma?" I asked, clenching my hands into fists.

"Trauma will only arise if you let it," she said calmly. "And if it does arise, it is up to you to give into it or get past it. There's always a choice, Nina."

There's always a choiceNina.

"I know," I said. "Well, if that's all that's holding me back, I think I'm all set to leave for the Philippines then."

She nodded and said, "Take care of yourself, okay? Have a fun and SAFE trip."

"Will do, Doc. Thank you so much," I said, standing up. She stood up after me and gave me a hug. "If anything does happen, I can prescribe you some meds."

I nodded and said, "I think that would be best."

"Okay then," she said. "I can just ask my assistant to buy them for you."

I smiled and nodded. "I'll be leaving in two hours," I said. "Maybe I can just wait for it, then?"

"It won't take a minute," she said, walking out to inform her assistant.

I looked at her and made my way out of her office too. Just as I did, Ian was on the phone with someone as he sat on the waiting area couch. His back was to me and he was hunched over, looking totally worried.

I decided to walk slowly, just to see if he'd notice me. I didn't want to bother him in the middle of something that looked important.

"But, how is she?" he asked worriedly.

How was who?

"How is that normal?" he asked. "No, no. Trish, seriously? You have to go and -. yeah I know, but... You sent Charlie to take-. Yeah but that's just-. No, that's it. I'm going to go to her."

TrishCharlieGoing to who?

"Nina will understand, Trish," he said. "This is Penny we're talking about here. I just saw her yesterday and she was fine. Trish, you have to find a way to get home to her. Please."

Soit's Penny and Trish.

"I'll be there in fifteen minutes," he said. "But Trish, I'm not kidding. Find a way to get home."

He ended the call and buried his face in his hands. Okay, this was officially making me more worried.

"Ian?" I asked. He stiffened as if I startled him. He stood up and turned around to face me.

He walked towards me and smiled, enveloping me in a hug. "Hey babe," he said. "How was it? Are you allowed to go on that flight?"

I hugged him back and nodded. "Yeah, she said it was okay," I said. I let him go and folded my arms over my chest. "So, what's happening? Are you okay? You look frazzled."
