IAN'S POV

NICKY HILTON ON NIAN

"I actually had no idea that they were back together. Ian told me he wanted me back, but I always assumed that he was only pursuing me. I had no idea about him and Nina, at all. All I can say is that I'm heartbroken, knowing that Ian played me like that."

According to Nicky, she and Ian got back together even before Derek's party. She came out to the press with these photos of her and Ian.

Apparently, these were taken the night Ian and Derek got into a fight at an LA club. Ian and Nicky arrived separately and left together, quite intimately.

More on this story, later.

I turned the TV off and looked at Nina, who was lying down with her head on my lap. The pictures were out and there was no turning back.

She got up slowly and folded her legs under her. She stared at me for a minute and sighed, "Why didn't you just tell me about those photos too? I would've understood."

"Does it really matter now?"

She smiled and kissed the tip of my nose. "No, it doesn't," she said. "I just can't help but be jeealous of her."

"Why?"

"Because she was there when you were lonely," she said. "She was there to help you and calm you down. I never got to do that. All I did was make you feel awful."

I rolled my eyes and pulled her closer to me, sitting her down on my lap. She groaned and rest her head in the crook of my neck.

"I only felt awful when you left me," I said. "Losing you over and over ang over again, scares me to death."

She kissed the bottom part of my chin. "I know it sounds cheesy, but seeing you there with her, made me feel like my world was nothing."

"And you should know that seeing you with... with him, made me want to punch everybody else in the face," I groaned. "Including Derek."

"Didn't you do that already?" she asked, looking up at me.

I rolled my eyes at her and said, "He was asking for it."

"No, he wasn't," she said. "It's just that you were defending Nicky's honor or something."

"How do you-."

"I read her statements online," she whispered, playing with my fingers.

I tilted her face up and she smiled lightly. I cocked my head to the side and placed my lips on her forehead. "I don't want you to do that," I said. "Stop reading all the crap Nicky says. I don't want it to be another reason for us to fight."

"I'm sure some of it wasn't crap," she said. "Because, when you two walked inside holding hands and being all lovey-dovey, there was still something there. Don't tell me you didn't feel a thing."

I sighed and scratched the back of my head. "When we were in that club and I was trying to forget about you..." I said. "Yes, there was something in me that said, 'Maybe Nina's not all there is'."

"So don't tell me it was crap," she said. "It's not like I didn't notice, Ian. It's perfectly fine that you still like her."

"I don't," I said. "It just felt nice to feel wanted and loved again, even if it wasn't by the person you wanted."
