Nina's POV

Standing there, right in front of me, were the two people who could've easily been the reason behind this whole mess.

Evan and Ashley.

I looked at Ian and he looked at me. Evan cleared his throat and Ashley gave a little cough. I could tell that they were uncomfortable with this set-up too.

I could see the way Ian was glaring at Evan and I tried my best not to sneer at Ashley's perfect face and perfect everything.

Clive could sense the tensions running high, so he grabbed a pedestal and stood over it so he was at least a foot higher than all of us.

"Okay," he said. "I know this is... slightly awkward, but we can make it work, right?"

"No," Ian scoffed. "Slightly awkward?! What kind of sick person cast this show?"

I looked at him in shock and he had the same Damon Salvatore anger that scared the hell out of me and everyone else.

"This show is going to be impossible," Evan said. "I don't think I can deal with this."

"Same here," Ashley sighed.

I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms over my chest. "Okay, so how did this happen and why wasn't anyone in their right mind to stop it?"

"Because you were the first one to be cast," Clive said. "And when the news broke out that Ian was cast as Harry, we also broke the news to Evan and Ashley that they got the roles."

"And how didn't we know about it?"

Clive sighed and put both his palms on his face. "We wanted it to be a surprise," he said. "We wanted the real tension to build up so that we could film a great scene!"

I looked over at Ian again and I could see that he was perfectly about to lose it.

He ran his hand through his hair and tried to keep his composure. He gritted his teeth together and scoffed. "So, that's all you care about, right? A great scene, an amazing freakin' show?!"

Ashley walked up to Ian and put her hands on his shoulders. "Hey, calm down," she soothed. "Calm down, hey come on."

"No," he growled. "I have to be stuck in a show with my ex-girlfriend! With her douche of an ex-boyfriend and another one of my ex-girlfriends! How am I supposed to calm down?"

"Okay, that's it," Evan yelled. "You are out of line, Ian! What the hell is your problem?"

Ian pushed Ashley away and walked towards Evan. "You. You're my problem, you ass!" Ian yelled. "If it wasn't for you, none of this would've ever happened!"

Enough was enough.

I walked over to Evan and stood between them. "Back off, Ian!" I yelled. "This is not Evan's fault, okay?!"

"Right, defend him, Nina," he said. "Because that's the best you could do! Ever since we started dating, all you ever did was defend this douchebag!"

"The hell is enough, Ian!" I yelled back. "It's not Evan's fault! He was only trying to be a good friend, okay?!"

"And what is that supposed to mean?!" Ashley yelled back, looking at me.

I glared at her. "You and I both know that this crap would never happen if you weren't there either!"

"Well I'm sorry if your boyfriend chose to go to that premiere with a friend, instead of you, his crazy girlfriend! No wonder he broke up with you!"
