"Figure everything out?" Aspen asks
After our talk, we had finally made it back to the room. As soon as we enter, everyone is sitting on the couch waiting.
"No but we will. I'm gonna go shower and then we should go get breakfast. I need caffeine" I say before heading to the bathroom
"Dylan! Can I use your toothpaste?" Sean tells through the door
"What happened to yours?" I ask washing my hair
"David happened. Can I please?" He begs
"Fine. Go ahead" I say trying to hurry up
I hear the door open and then close again before finishing up in the shower. Once my towel is wrapped around, I started on brushing my teeth.
"Sorry, gotta pee" Aspen yells running into the bathroom
"What the hell Aspen" I yell out in surprise
"Sorry. You know I have a small bladder" she says
I roll my eyes before exiting the bathroom. Heading back to our room, I am almost knocked over by Sean and David.
"Sorry Dyl!" Sean and David both yell
I huff, slamming my door closed behind me. I needed to calm down. I was still freaking out internally.
"Dylan? Are you dressed?" Gavin asks knocking at my door
"Yeah. You can come in" I say wrapping my towel tighter around me
He opens the door slowly before walking in with a cup of coffee.
"Did the shower help?" He asks
"Honestly, I'm still freaking out" I say chuckling a bit
"Same here. This was the last thing I thought would happen when I woke up" he says playfully
Our words slowly turn into silence. Not an awkward silence but still a weird and slight uncomfortable silence.
"Uh is everything okay?" I ask
"Oh yeah. I wanted to ask when we get home tomorrow, would you like to get dinner with me?" He asks looking directly in my eyes
"Yeah. We can figure out what to do going forward" I say agreeing
"That and I thought it could be nice" he smiles
"Uh, yeah. I agree" I say
"Great. I'll just let you get dressed then" he says wrapping his arms around me
I'm taken aback as he holds me tighter. I then wrap my arms around his waist, returning the gesture.
"Oh sorry. I'm wet" I say trying to back away
"Yeah, I always had that effect on you" he says before slipping out of my room
My eyes widen, watching the door close behind him.
"Theres no way he just said that" I whisper to myself
I shake it off, grabbing whatever outfit I could. I grab a white body suit, mom jeans, and my Ugg slipper booties.
"Why is Gavin leaving from our room?" Aspen asks walking in the door
"He was just checking on me" I tell her
She gives me a look as if she didn't believe me. I shrug grabbing my blow dryer, curling iron, and heat protectant.
I blow dry and curl my hair as fast as I can. Fluffing my hair up and then heading out to meet with everyone else.
"Ready?" Lol asks as I enter the living room
I nod taking a seat beside her as everyone else walks into the living room. As soon as Sean came down, we were ready to go.
"Where are we going again?" Lola asks
"We are going to go eat the best breakfast in Vegas. Miss Stella's" I tell her
I hold the door open before entering. As I walk forward into the elevator, I fell a hand behind me and on my lower back. I'm caught off guard as I turn around. I give him a look silently asking him what that was about. He just continues to smile while looking forward.
