(A/N This chapter will be a bit longer than the others, but I hope you enjoy it anyway :) )
Bloom stepped outside and closed the door behind her, standing in front of it as if protecting the house from the Witch in front of her. Icy scoffed at her antics and rolled her eyes.
"Really? You actually think you can stop me from going inside?" The Witch mocked, stepping closer to the Fairy.
"It doesn't hurt to try." Bloom challenged, taking a daring step forward.
"Trust me, it will hurt." The Witch threatened, smirking evily.
"What do you want, Icy?"
"Ruby." She answered, her voice losing the venomous tone of before. "That's all I've always wanted."
Bloom visibly softened at her statement, surprising Icy. The Fairy looked behind her at the door to her home and then looked back at the Witch. She bit her lip hard as her reasonable side and the side that loves her sister had an heated argument about letting Icy go inside.
"Fine." She growled, rolling her eyes. "Fine, but there are conditions."
"Excuse me? Conditions?" Icy asked, crossing her arms. "Who the fuck do you think you are?"
"The only one that might let you inside and we both know that if you force your way in, Ruby won't talk to you, so you better listen to me."
Icy glared at the Fairy, her previously cold blood boiling with rage. Unfortunately, she knew that Bloom was right and, even though it pained her, she nodded letting her know she would agree with anything so that she could talk to Ruby.
The conditions were fairly simple. Don't get close to her parents, not after what she and her sisters had done to them, and don't ever break Ruby's heart. It wasn't a problem for the Witch. She couldn't care less about her parents and she would never dare to hurt Ruby in any way. Ever.
Bloom still had her doubts, though.
"How can I trust you won't hurt her after everything you've done."
Icy gritted her teeth hard in order to keep herself together. Although she wanted to turn Bloom into an ice statue right there right now, part of her understood the Fairy's protectiveness over Ruby and she knew she would've done the same. As much as it pains and disgusts her to admit, she and Bloom were on the same page when it came to Ruby, so she needed her trust almost as much as she needed the youngest redhead.
"I promise you Fa... Bloom, I have no interest in hurting your parents and I would rather kill myself than to hurt Ruby. I... I love her." Icy said, refusing to look into Bloom's eyes. She hated being vulnerable in any way, let alone in front of her sworn enemy.
Bloom smiled softly and nodded. She turned around and opened the door to her house, holding it open for the Witch. Icy eyed her up and down suspisciously before slowly walking inside, her eyes never leaving the Fairy in case she decided to attack her from the back.
"So, who as it Blo... EEK." Garry screeched as he saw Icy. Him, Greg and Python immediately ran upstairs as fast as possible.
"Did that Ghoul just... talk?" Icy asked, looking at Bloom puzzled.
"Yeah. Ruby enchanted their collars so they could communicate with everyone." Bloom explained, smiling sheepishly.
"What is she doing in my house?" Mike shouted, shielding his wife from the Witch. "Leave."
"Dad, calm down. She's not here to hurt us." Bloom said, stepping in front of Icy. She felt ashamed for protecting the Witch, but she didn't have a choice.
