"Alright, so mine and Icy's favourite is Snow Angel. I know for a fact that Stormy's is Poison Poison."
"Everyone in that place knows Stormy's favourite is Poison Poison."Darcy grumbled and rolled her eyes at her sister's earlier behavior. "Seriously, couldn't you have calmed down a bit?"
"I got to yell the word 'fuck' dozens of times and no one complained. Of course I couldn't have calmed down, it was a once in a lifetime chance." Stormy argued.
"What is your favourite song then, Precious?" Ruby asked.
"She didn't sing it. It's Moon."
"That one is pretty underrated." Icy mumbled, holdin a snowflake in her hand which somehow didn't melt to the touch.
The concert had ended about an hour ago and the four of them decided to head towards the abandoned house where Ruby liked to spend her alone times. She had texted Musa and Robin that she was going there with some friends and told them to head back to Alfea. Robin answered normally, but Musa seemed very cold in her message. She was probably just overthinking it though.
After a few minutes of lying in bed, Icy had suggested they go out on the porch since it was starting to snow. Darcy didn't want to, since it was cold, so Ruby enjoyed carrying her outside against her will. She was lighter than she thought. Eventually the witch relented, but only on the condition that she lay on Ruby's lap and have her stroke her hair.
Ruby smiled as she watched Stormy lean her head against her shoulder, her eyelids getting heavier and her nose scrunching up adorably as a snowflake landed on it. "I think we should go back now."
"Already?" Darcy complained since she was enjoying the soft caresses. She was about to fall asleep herself. Ruby glanced at Stormy who was already sound asleep on her shoulder. "Well, let's go inside and sleep there."
"I wish I could." Ruby whispered, smiling lovingly at the Witch. "But we have to be up early tomorrow and if I get in that bed with you three I won't be leaving until two in the afternoon."
"We wouldn't force you to stay until that late. We would understand that you have to be somewhere tomorrow." Icy argued.
"Oh, I'm not saying you would do that. I'm saying that I wouldn't understand that I have to be up early and that I would force you to stay in bed with me until 2pm." Ruby admited making them laugh. Stormy grumbled a 'shut up' and burried her face on Ruby's neck.
"Where are you going tomorrow?" Darcy asked, mindlessly playing with Ruby's rings on her fingers.
"Faragonda is sending us on a vacation so we can 'regain our spirit of cooperation' or whatever" Ruby answered air quoting what Faragonda said that morning. Icy and Darcy looked at her with confused scowl on their faces. "We've been kind of at each other's throats for the past few weeks."
"Is that because we won that fight at Cloud Tower?" Icy asked, smirking teasingly at the Fairy.
"Uhm, 'won' is an overstatement. It was a goddamn fluke."
"Oh really? How so?"
"I... didn't feel like attacking you so I called out the spell without them knowing."
"Right." Icy said sarcastically, smirking smugly. "So we won the fight."
"No, it was a fluke... Whatever, we'll go on a vacation and that's it. It has nothing to do with you or the fluke."
"You're going to the WildLands, right?" Darcy asked.
"Yeah... How do you know that?" Ruby asked. Darcy's eyes widened and she quickly sat up, realising her mistake. Icy was glaring ice daggers at her from behind Ruby.
