The meeting

DEREKS POV
"So chief Shepherd when were you going to tell me you are going to be my boss" Mark said pushing me slightly
"Well I could decide between before or after I fired you" I replied laughing
"Oh really your just lucky you don't have me as your tour guide I would have deliberately got you lost" he said smiling and walking away as I was greater by Richard.
"Derek nice to meet you" he said taking my hand
"You too sir" I replied
"So shall we head up to your office and meet your tour guide for today and set you up with your lab coat"
"Yes sir after you" I said following him
When we reached his office I spotted a blonde/brown haired woman sitting on one of the seats
"Dr Grey this is Dr Shepherd the new chief of surgery you will be showing him the ropes today and get him down to the auditorium at 1:30 you got this Grey and Shepherd your lab coat is up on the coat hanger in the closet the office is now yours after I make the lecture today I'm off with my wife to the Bahamas I'll speak to you later" he said walking out
"So Dr Shepherd I heard your a neurosurgeon" she said still siting down while I moved over to the big seat behind the desk
"Well you heard correct and call me Derek" I replied spinning then getting up and walking towards the closet and pulling out a white lab coat to go over my blue shirt and dark blue tie
"Well Derek call me Meredith" she said turning round and staring at me and I noticed
"What are you staring at?"
"I was just thinking about how much blue brings out your eyes" she said still staring and I saw something in her something I've never felt before except with Addison but that didn't work out.
"So shall we go chief Shepherd" she said all flirty
"Ok then Dr Grey ladies first" I said flirting back and she led me on the official tour of the hospital
