The Park

I decided to walk to the park because it was ten minutes away from the hospital and I realised Meredith's car was still in the parking lot.
When I got to the park I was 30 minutes late because I was paged back for an issue in the hospital. I walked around the park until I remembered that me and Meredith have a spot on a hill that she'll be on.
When I got to the bottom of this hill all I could hear was.
"Why did I do this why did I listen to Spencer oh god I'm such an idiot for believing he loves me too....it's time to grow up Meredith your not in high school any more your a grown up God" she muttered to herself as I climbed the hill and when I got up it she was sitting on the ground with her back to me so I walked over to her and sat next to her.
"So what are we having for lunch" I said and it startled her
"Derek you came your really here" she said with a smile on her face.
"Of course I'm here I love you Meredith I've loved you since that day you walked me around the hospital and I've always had a place in my heart for you even when I was with Spencer you were still there and now you have my whole heart" I replied placing my hand on her back
"I love you too Derek and I'm never going to stop loving you" she said placing her arm so it was on my thigh and kissed me.
We lay on the hill and we looked up to the sky saying the occasional I love you and the constant small kisses we shared together until our moment was ruined.
"Like whoever invented pagers needs a kick to the face" she said
"Well my girlfriend truly is a charmer" I said as mine went off
"911 Owen what about you?" I asked
"Same......did you bring your car" she replied
"No I walked and I know you didn't so we'll just have too run" I suggested and we quickly got up and jogged/ran to the hospital.
When we got there Meredith was completely out of breathe but I wanted to run further.
"Oh sorry I forgot to page you the ambulance detoured to Seattle Pres" Owen said looking at Meredith in a confused look
"You forgot you made me run 8 blocks for a false alarm while trying to keep up with superman here" she said in his face
"Meredith come on let's go to my office" I suggested and she grabbed my hand and I led her to my office
"So I'm superman and your my Wonder Woman" I said flirting with her
"Oh really" she replied placing a kiss on my lips
"I love you Derek"
"I love you to Mer"

So there back together but my senses are alerting me that there is trauma, tears and maybe a ring but then I can also hear wedding bells???????👂🏻👂🏻👂🏻👂🏻
