I've been back at work like three days and I'm missing my little man but being at work helps. I was in the ER talking to Callie when I heard a baby laugh.
"That laugh sounds so much like Christopher" I said closing my eyes
"Mer it is Christopher" she said so I turned around and I saw Derek with Christopher in his carrier
"Derek Christopher Shepherd what do you think you are doing?" I asked
"I thought I would take little Chris for a walk to get some fresh air" he replied in his baby voice
"Well hello my little man" I said as I took him out of Derek's arms and cuddled him "That's not all though is it"
"No I actually miss you and came to see you" he replied acting like a teenage boy.
"Well I miss you too"
I placed a kiss on his cheek as I was called over by Callie
"I gotta go but I'll see you later I love you"
"I love you too" he said taking Christopher off me then kissing me and we both said bye.
"Well Mer you really found your Prince Charming didn't you" Callie said handing me the chart
"I did"
I looked back at Derek and I caught him looking at me
"Love you" he mouthed
"Love you too" I replied as he winked and walked out.
