It's been 6 weeks since my mom died and I feel like I'm never gonna get over it. Both my parents are now gone but I still have my family. I am being forced into going on a guys holiday to Spain with Alex, George and Mark.
"Derek the guys are outside" Meredith shouted
"Yea coming" I replied from the bedroom while I was saying bye to the kids.
Once I had explained why I was going I walked back to the living room.
"I'm gonna miss you" Mer said hugging me.
"I'm gonna miss you too but it's for the best you know to keep my mind off things." I replied
"Yea I know but just be careful ok I don't want a phone call to say you've broke your leg jumping off a cliff"
"Got it I'll be careful... I love you"
"I love you too" I leaned in and kissed her until the kids came in.
"Ok guys I love you all see you in a week" I said over shouts of Bye and we'll miss you.....
When I got into the cab the first thing we all did was.
"Spain here we come!!!!!"
