2 weeks later
"Derek can we talk" Spencer said walking in.
"Yea sure what's up" I said getting up and sitting in front of her.
"Derek I'm 4 weeks pregnant" she said and I sank down in shock.
"If you don't want to be a part of the babies life it's ok I understand"
"Don't say that i want to be part of this babies life and I won't leave its side" I said placing my hands on her legs
"Really?"
"Yes........I love you Spencer and I'm going to love this baby too" I said standing up and helping her up and pulling her in for a hug then I kissed her but thinking I have to tell Meredith that we can't be together.
One hour later
"Hey you paged" Meredith asked walking into my office
"Meredith I wanted to talk to you about the kiss"
"Yea what about it"
"Meredith Spencer's pregnant"
"Well then congratulations" she said obviously upset
"Meredith are you ok" I asked
"Yea I'm good" she replied as I walked closer and when I was standing in front of her a nurse came in
"Dr Shepherd there's something wrong with Dr Matthews" she panicked and I ran out leaving Meredith alone in my office.
When I got to the exam room Dr Cooper was standing looking at Spencer's chart.
"What happened are you ok"
"Derek I'm so so sorry" she said placing her head on my chest.
"Derek she had a miscarriage" Alex said and Spencer broke down sobbing on my chest.
