It's been 3 weeks since the accident and Alex woke up, then the woman had her baby and named him Derek Alex Stevenson.
"Hey so are you excited for your birthday meal guys" Meredith asked myself and Daniel
"If it means that we still need to turn 38 then no" Dan said fixing his tie
"I'm with Dan" I laughed putting the key in the door
"Well if it makes you feel any younger your girlfriends will take you dancing after" Meredith and Lori laughed
"Oh woohoo" I said getting in the car
Later that night we ended up at somebody's birthday party that we realised minutes later was ours.
"Meredith you didn't have to do this" I said hugging her
"I know but I wanted to" she replied grabbing my hand and leading me to dance.
I danced with many people night but one would change the night.
"Derek would you dance with me?" Callie asked
"Yea sure" I said grabbing her hand
"Derek I needed to tell you this without causing a big scene" she whispered
"Go ahead" I replied with a confused expression on my face
"There is a man outside looking for you a man with the last name Jefferson?"
"Ok I'll go out and talk to him" I said as I headed out
It'll be fine...I hope...

Just an update that there will be a new story going up but I am not writing it. My friend wants to give it a shot and thought she'd test it out on you guys😝😝
This will not get in the way of my updates as I am going to start updating more in 2017.
