We're Pregnant

Regina's POV

Another 2 weeks has gone by and I'm still having morning sickness. I've gotten used to it by now. Even though it tires me out in the morning and I'm disgusted by throwing up, it's all worth it for my little bean. Emma's been nothing but supportive in every way that she can be, from holding my hair back while I throw up, to checking in on me throughout the day while we're both working. Sometimes, I have my moments where I worry uncontrollably, but it's because I want this so much. I make sure that I'm eating healthier. Every morning at 6am, Emma and I go for a light jog to stay fit and ensure my health doesn't decline. Every evening the boys, Emma and I go out for walks. Emma getting up at that time speaks volumes as we both know she's not an early riser. Truth be told, if she didn't have to work, the woman would stay asleep until noon. I love how invested she is. I was worried that maybe she would have second thoughts, but she reassures me that she wants this as much as I do. She's ready for us to raise a baby together and doesn't want to miss a moment.

Prior to my pregnancy, we never really talked about what her pregnancy was like. She had a rough time being pregnant while in jail since the facilities don't provide as much care as she would have had if she was free. Nevertheless, she thankfully didn't have a hard time health-wise. She didn't have any morning sickness, which I am jealous about. However, she mentioned feeling tired throughout her pregnancy. She had many cravings that she couldn't satisfy because of her circumstances. She's vowed to not deprive me of anything I wanted. Thus far, I haven't had any cravings. I'm sure that might change later on. So far now, I'm taking advantage of eating cleaner.

It's quarter to 6 in the morning. I get up, drink a bottle of water and make my way to brush my teeth. When I finish, I walk over to the bed and kiss Emma's lips softly. She feels me immediately and kisses back before opening her eyes.

"Good Morning, gorgeous" I say.

"And a Good Morning it is to wake up to you, My Queen."

It's crazy that my heart still feels like it's going to beat through my chest every time she flirts with me.

"I love waking up to you next to me. Ready to get up for our jog?"

"Always, Babe. Give me 2 minutes to brush my teeth and we'll go."

While she brushes up, I change into some leggings and a vest. I stand in front of the mirror holding my stomach. I haven't started to show yet, but I smile knowing our baby is there. Before I know it, two arms wrap around my lower stomach and a feel a gentle kiss on the side of my head.

"Our baby is in there, My Queen."

"That they are."

"What do you think we're having?" she asks.

"Honestly, it doesn't matter to me. Whatever we have I'm going to be thrilled regardless."

"I do agree. I still think we're going to have our little girl, though."

"What makes you so sure?"

"The more I think about, the more I think my dreams were just a premonition of our future."

I turn around and face her smiling. "I hope your dreams come true, My Love. I still remember the day you told me about it.  God, I look forward to every moment."

She pecks my lips quickly. "Me too. I can't wait for her to be here."

"I hope she has your eyes."

"I hope that's she's your print, Gina. You are the most beautiful woman I have ever laid eyes upon. If I'm right, it's definitely a good thing that I'm the Sheriff."

I giggle. "And why is that Miss Swan?"

"I can only imagine how many guys I'm going to have to chase away from our Princess."
