Jesse's POV

"So, she's ready, huh?" Bumper mentions, motioning to Amy and Beca.

"Yeah, we had a picnic date and she said she was ready..." I bite my lip, this girl makes me crazy. "I really, am so happy."

"Good, man, you deserve it." Bumper pats me on the back. "I mean, you're lucky, Beca won't try to be controlling, but Amy literally tries."

"What do you mean?"

"Well, for one, she puts the toilet seat up and yells, Bumper, you better come here and put the damn toilet seat down!" Bumper laughs, making me chuckle.

Beca looks at me from the corner of her eye and smiles.

"That's Amy for you." I respond with another chuckle.

"What's Amy?" Amy's thick Australia accent enters out conversation.

"You, and your putting the toilet seat up, then yelling for me to put it down." Bumper answers and Amy nods.

"Well, fuck you. You're so clean, it's weird." Amy shrugs, smirking.

"Yeah, its different with us. I don't clean, but, neither does Jesse." I was so engaged in the conversation, I didn't notice that Beca made her way over to me, with Amy, so I jumped at the sound of her voice. "Did I scare you?"

"Yeah." I scratch the back of my head in embarrassment.

"So, what were you guys talking about?" Amy asks, bringing my attention back to her.

"Can we have a lazy day?" Bumper asks, which sounds almost like a plea.

"We would, if we were unpacked." Beca answers him, he groans.

"Then, let's unpack, so that we can watch some television!" Amy exclaims, grabbing Beca's clothes. "I'll bring these upstairs, wherever that is."

"I'll show you." I offer, and it must've shocked Amy, because she didn't say anything, she just nods.

Beca's POV

I walk outside, to the truck, with Benji.

"So, Beca," Benji tries to start up a conversation. "You're engaged."

"Yeah, I am. It doesn't really feel any different than dating, though." I admit, running a hand through my hair.

"Yeah, I guess it doesn't." Bumper agrees. "Are you sure you're ready, though? I mean, in beyond happy for you guys, but I just want to make sure that you're ready and that you didn't feel pressured to say yes."

"Thank you, Bumper, so much, but, I'm ready. This was my decision, I wasn't pressured." I assure him with a small smile.

"Okay, wasn't trying to intrude," Bumper starts, but I stop him.

"No, really, Bumper, it's fine." He pats my back, something I've seen him do to Jesse before.

Wait.

If he did this to Jesse, to make sure I'm ready because he has doubt that I'm ready, does that mean that Jesse doesn't want me to be ready yet?

"Oh, okay, good." Bumper nervously replies as Jesse makes his way over to the back of the truck, by Bumper and I.

"Hey, Bec." He pecks my lips before taking a box full of my CDs. "How many more boxes?"

"Two, I think." I answer as I go on my toes, to count how many boxes are left.

"Alright, let's get this done! Amy will help you unpack while Bumper and I make lunch, okay?"

"Okay." I nod in agreement to the plan that he arranged. "Bumper, just grab that box," I point to the one with my desk stuff in it. "It looks heavy, but it's nod." Bumper nods, grabbing my desk box as I take the last one.

"Alright, Beca," Amy sighs when I make it to mine and Jesse's room.

Amy's POV

Once Beca tells me what Bumper says, I'm too shocked to even say anything.

Beca and him usually didn't speak. And to say at the least, I was grateful.

I was grateful that he even cared for Beca. He usually doesn't come off as caring, but I was so damn thankful that Jesse volunteered to show me Beca's and his room.

"Wow." I finally break the silence.

"I know." Beca replies with a chuckle.

"That's... That's interesting..."

"Bec! Amy! Lunch!" Beca and I leave the room, to have a lunch with our two dorks.
