Alright it's about that time and today's question of the day is: What anime characters felt like the main character despite not being one? As of the making of this chapter only 3 people gave interesting responses.

There's a lot of characters out there but the two I can think of are Anya Forger and Sataru Gojo.

As for Anya, even though Loid is the main protagonist of Spy x Family especially since the whole story is centered around his mission Operation Strix, Anya is what truly carries the entire story. She's the reason Loid and Yor got to gather and formed the proper Forger Family, she's the reason why Bond joined the family and she's also the reason why Loid and Yor survived many of their missions when they did even though they have no business doing so like during the events of the Doggy Crisis Arc where Loid died in an explosion but didn't thanks to Anya, and in Cruise Adventure Arc where Yor was about to be killed by an assassin but didn't thanks to Anya. Hell in the Red Circus Arc, Anya actually played a huge role in resolving it all on her own. Despite being 5 years old, Anya is clearly the thing that holds the entire story together, without Anya there would be no Forger Family and without Anya, Loid and Yor would be dead which is crazy. And even now that's still the case because recent chapters dropped huge bombshell dropped in Chapter 110 where Donavan Desmond the main target of Loid is actually an alien who reads minds which literally makes Anya the only real hope in saving the day because her telepathy is completely broken in the world of Spy x Family. That's actually insane how the fate of the world rests on this little girl.

And as for Gojo I hardly don't need to explain much. Ever since the day he was born Gojo was quite literally the strongest Jujutsu Sorcerer in all of Jujutsu Kaisen mostly because of his most broken ability, Limitless which is a literal cheat code in almost every fight he's in. You would think he'd be the main character but the actual main character is Yuji Itadori. Yet despite that Yuji gets sidelined A LOT so Gojo can do something. Gojo's so OP many characters had to seal him just to ensure they had a fighting chance and even that wasn't enough and Limitless is just the tip of the iceberg as he's got Six Eyes which are basically broken that allows Gojo to recover a lot and spam Limitless, Unlimited Void, and many others over and over again. I swear to good Gojo is a walking cheat code, he's an immovable object fighting against dozens of unstoppable forces. That's just insane. Gojo was so powerful the author had him killed off in the final arc when he fought Sukuna which to be honest as much as I love Gojo, killing him off and having him lose is clearly the right choice because 99% of the entire series Gojo's never lost any fight he's in and being sealed doesn't count because all they did was take him out of the fight not outright beating him. Having Gojo lose is also good writing because it paves the way for the next generation to surpass him to do what he couldn't do and it worked as Yuji and the others finished off Sukuna avenging his death.

But yeah Anya and Gojo are my picks but let me know what you picked in the comments.
