chapter 5

"He loves board games and probably won't stop asking till you play several." Mrs. Statter assures me.

"Okay cool I like board games." I lie. To be honest I hate board games. But I can't dissapoint James, he is so cute and innocent.

"Okay I am off!" She screams up the stairs which makes me jump.. once again. She slams the door, leaving me on the couch with complete awkward silence from James.

"Hi James." I say trying to make a conversation.

He smiles. "Want to watch tv?" I ask.

He nods.

"Whats your favorite show?" I ask.

He grabs the remote with no words and turns on the tv.

When he goes to On Demand I smile when he choses Spongebob, because Spongebob is my homie.

"Tv?" Daniel sneaks up on me.

"Oh my gosh!" I put my hand on my heart and take a deep breath.

He jumps on the couch next to me and puts his arm around me.

"How about we watch netflix and chill?" He smirks.

"Uh no." I pry his hand off and scoot closer to James.

"Daniel stop being a pervert." I hear James whisper. I look at him astonished.

He looks back at me ashamed.

"You talk?" I ignore what he said and am just happy he talked.

He looks back at the tv and I just smile. Daniel is a pervert.

About three episodes into spongebob the door opens then closes.

I look over and Jack walks in. My heart races and I have no idea what to do.

"Hey Julie." He says.

"Hey Jack." I reply.

"How long have you been here?" He asks.

"About fourty-five minutes."

He nods and then goes upstairs.

Shivers go down my back which is a feeling I absoloutley hate.

James gets up suddenly and walks over to a cabinet. When he comes back he is carrying Connect Four.

"You want me to play with you?" I ask as he sets it on my lap and nods. I huff a little and grab the game.

"I will be reff!" Daniel yells.

We sit at the dining room table and set it up.

"Whatcha guys doin." Jack says coming into the doorway.

"We are going to watch James beat Julie at Connect Four." Daniel says.

"What makes you think I am going to lose?" I ask crossing my arms.

Daniel and Jack look at each other and burst out laughing.

"What?" I ask confused.

"James has won every single game of Connect Four ever!" Jack exclaims.

"Ever?" I ask looking at James who is still setting up the game.

"Ever." Daniel enphasizes.

"Well lets see." I announce.

We start the game and within thirty seconds my mouth is hanging open to two teenage boys laughing at me because I lost to a four year old.

"Oh whatever." I say. "Good job James you are really good."

He smiles proudly.

"Its like he can see every move before it happens." Says Daniel.

"Well thats kind of a creepy thought." I reply.

James smiles and emptys the chips for another round of humiliation.

chapter 5 is kinda rushed but omg you guys!
