chapter 9

I open my eyes and blink suddenly as the light from the window practically blinds me.

Wait. Where am I?

I look around and instantly recognize the home... of Jack Gilinsky.

I then realize I am laying with him.

He is kind of behind me and I had been laying my head on his arm.

I sit up suddenly and shiver.

I was so warm next to him I guess.

What the hell happened last night.

I am still fully dressed, even my shoes. I see my phone on the table and grab it quickly.

6:00 am.

It is still super early.

"Julie?" I hear a groggy and sexy voice say my name which sends shivers once again. I see Jack peek his head from over the couch.

"Hey." I reply.

"Wow I slept terrible." He says standing up and walking over to me.

Oh I remember now. We were watching a movie and then I guess I might have fallen asleep.

I take a quiet deep breath.

"Last night was fun." I say.

"It wasn't very eventful." He says smiling at my relieved face.

"Shut up." I say playfully.

"Oh Julie you are here already?" I look behind Jack and see Daniel.

"Oh hey Daniel." I say. "Uhh yeah I am."

He walks into the kitchen behind me. I look at Jack and he makes a 'don't tell him' face.

"How was your little sleepover last night?" Daniel says suddenly behind me.

Jack and I both make a weird nose of embarrasment.

"How did you know?" Jack asks.

"What, you think the tv magically turned itself off?"

I smile and he smirks.

"Well since you are already here.." Daniel says. "And my grandma isn't here.."

"What do you want." I say, it not meaning a question.

"Can you take us out for breakfast... babysitter?"

"Whats in it for me." I reply.

"A nice day of food and you get to spend it with me, silly!" He playfully punches my shoulder.

"Whatever." I say.

"Great! I will go get James." He bolts to the stairs.

"Wait is he still asleep?" I ask him.

"Yeeeeeeaaaa- no." He says.

"You don't know do you."

He shakes his head.

"If he is asleep you have to wait." I say.

"What! Why!?" He stomps his feet.

"Aww wittle baby is hungy?" I mock.

"Uggghh fine." He trudges upstairs.

"Damn." I turn around and Jack has an approving look on his face.

"What?" I ask, curious about his remark.

"You put him into line." He says smiling. "I like it."

I smile. "You wish you have what I have."

"You know it." He smirks and it makes me blush a little.

"Okay we are ready!" Daniel yells from upstairs.

"Sure bout' that?" I ask.

"Uuh yeah?" Daniel responds.

"No you aren't." I say shaking my head.

"I want to go out for breakfast!" He says.

"We are you just have to wait for James to wake up!" I say.

"He is awake!" He says.

"If you just woke him up we aren't going at all." I say.

I then hear a gasp, so thumping around and Daniel saying, "James go back to sleep."

Hearing this makes Jack and I laugh.

"I didn't you did." He says.

"How did I wake him up?" I ask.

"Your yelling."

"You were yelling too."

"James tell her it was her that woke you up." He says.

"You woke me up dummy." James rubs his eyes. "But I am in the mood for some bacon!"

I smile.

"Fine then lets go!" I say clapping my hands.

They run to their rooms and get changed super quickly.

"I'm kind of hungry too." Jack says deeply into my ear. Sending shivers.

"Oh really?" I ask playfully. He nods. "Well you will have to wait till we get to the restraunt." I push his chest back away.

He puts his hands up in defense and smiles.

"Okay we are ready!" Daniel says.

"Okay lets go." I say. The run outside, tons of energy. They hop in the car and Jack gets in the front seat.

"Where do you guys want to go?" I ask.

"Black Bear!" Daniel practically screams.

"Jesus okay!" Jack says.

"Black bear, Black Bear, Black Bear!" I can hear Daniel and James chanting in the backseat.

Jack looks at me smiling and I smile back.
