Harry's P.O.V

"Harry, don't be stupid. You can't leave in the middle of the tour." John's voice rang out of the phone as I packed my bags. I was leaving tour; going back home to take care of my wife and this time, no one could stop me.

"If being concerned about your wife's health is stupid, John, then yes, I'm a very stupid man." I said and heard him sigh

"It's just a case of cold!" John said and I exploded

"It's not just the cold! She's sick and pr- We have a week before the next concert. I'm going home, John." I said and hung up on him. I put the strap of my duffle bag over my shoulder and walked out of my hotel room.

I didn't see any of the boys until I reached the lobby. Niall was there, talking on the phone and I saw him wince slightly. When he saw me, he gave me a questioning look and I walked over to him

"Where are you going, mate?" He asked me, hanging up on the phone

"Home. I need to go back." I said and he nodded, flinching slightly

"You heard her too?" He asked me and I raised an eyebrow at him so he gestured toward his phone "I was talking to Pooja. Tahira's not stomaching anything much according to her." He continued and my eyes widened

"She's not?" I asked and his eyes widened too "They didn't tell you?" He asked and I shook my head

"I'm only getting updates from Pooja. Tahira is too sick to answer the phone." I said and he nodded

"You should go back. She really needs you right now."

Quietly opening the door to my flat a few hours later, I was met by silence. I placed my keys in the bowl before walking towards my room where I knew they both would be and sure enough, they were.

Tahira was completely wrapped up in the blankets, panting slightly as she breathed; her face red while Pooja sat on a chair beside her, sleeping with her head resting on the bed.

I walked in and slowly shook Pooja's shoulder. She looked up at me sleepily and her eyes widened.

"Why don't you go sleep in Tahira's old room? I'm here now." I said and Pooja nodded slowly and got up, walking out of the room while I took the seat she had just vacated.

As I reached out to touch Tahira's face, I resisted the impulse to immediately pull back. Her face was burning, and I corrected the thought that it was because of the blankets. I got up from the chair I was sitting on and walked to the kitchen from where I picked up a bowl.

Walking into the bathroom, I filled the bowl with cold water and while it was filling, I found a cloth I could use. Walking back towards the bed, I placed the bowl on the side table and dunked the cloth into it before placing it on Tahira's forehead.

She flinched slightly at the contact with the cold cloth, mumbling something incomprehensible, she settled down. I ran my knuckled softly against her cheeks

"Everything will be fine, darling. I'm here now."

The sound of someone heaving loudly jerked me awake. At first I was confused but then saw that the bed was empty and immediately rushed into the bathroom.

She was standing there in front of the toilet, violently vomiting whatever was there in her stomach. I quickly walked behind her and held her hair back from her face with one hand and rubbed her back with the other.

She staggered against me once she was done and instinctively I wrapped my arm around her waist. I helped her walk towards the sink to brush her teeth but she could barely even keep her eyes open. I couldn't even describe how I felt looking at her helpless state, her face looked so pale. I was so grateful that at least she had Pooja to help her when I wasn't there, but I knew that even Pooja couldn't put her life and college on hold forever.

Without a word, I grabbed Tahira's toothbrush and after putting the toothpaste on it, I helped her brush her teeth. As soon as she was done, I picked her up bridal style

"Pooja, wha- Harry?" Tahira's hoarse voice called and I looked down at her to see she was looking at me with wide eyes. I gave her a small smile

"Hey, darling." I said but she didn't look like she believed that I was there. It wasn't until I placed her on the bed that she moved, her shaking hand cupped my cheek

"You're really here." She whispered in wonder and I placed my hand over hers, taking her hand in mine

"I'm really here." I whispered and then before I knew what happened, arms wrapped around my chest and Tahira placed her head on my shoulder

"I've missed you so much." She whispered and I wrapped my arms around her back

"I've missed you, too." I said, placing a kiss to her head and she let out a soft sigh. It took me a few seconds to notice, but I when placed my hands on her sides, I could feel her ribs under my fingers

"What on earth? Haven't you been eating anything?" I asked, pulling back from her and she looked away

"I have, but I can't stomach much anymore." She said and I sighed

"What can you stomach then?" I asked and she looked at me "Toast mostly. And khichdi." She said and I nodded, getting up from the bed. When she looked at me confused, I shook my head and walked out of the room towards the kitchen.

To my surprise, there was breakfast already ready and set on the table and there was a note beside it.

I made breakfast before I left. Please take care of her, Harry - Pooja

I smiled slightly and placed the note back on the table. I picked up the tray and walked back into the room.

Tahira's eyes widened when she saw me and she moved, about to scramble off the bed but I shook my head to stop her and placed the tray beside her on the bed

"Eat." I instructed. She looked at me for a few seconds and shook her head but complied. She nibbled at her toast, eating slowly and I frowned. After seeing her like this, I knew I couldn't leave her alone, and I only had a week to stay here.

I've got to figure something out soon.
