When I woke up, I was in the hospital.

I felt so weak that I didn’t even open my eyes as I went to feel the stitches that were going to be running up my left arm, but there was something in my way. Something that shouldn’t’ve been there.

My eyes flew open and I sat up really quickly, which was a terrible idea. I immediately felt light headed and I laid back down and I rested hand on my stomach and felt the baby kick.

I started breathing really quickly, unsure of what was going on. I reached up and pressed the nurses botton on the side of the bed and within seconds I heard several people rushing down the hallway.

Suddenly my door was thrown open and there were four nurses standing in the doorway staring at me in shock.

“You’re awake,” one of the said.

“What do you mean?” I asked quickly and I looked down at my left arm, but there was an I.V. in it and no stitches. There wasn't even a scar.

“You’ve been in a coma,” one of the nurses said slowly, “for the past five months.”
