The Starlight pack was definitely small. It looked like a small village that you would find in Greece. instead of cement, they had stone tiles, and the houses were all smushed together, and old looking, it was beautiful in an ancient rustic way.

Me and Henry didn't talk much as he lead me towards a chapel in the middle of the village. As we got closer to the chapel I began to notice more, and more, that there was hardly any wild life, it sorta felt dead, like there was no life in the earth beneath our feet, it made me sad. I made a quick vow to myself that I would heal it as soon as possible, but I needed to meet with the alpha first and see if he would let me stay.

I also noticed something else, there was no one around.

"Umm, Henry where is everyone?" I asked curiously, looking around trying to see if I missed something.

"Oh, they're all at the church." He glanced down at me, with a whisper of a smile on his lips.

"What is it? Why are you smiling?" I said cautiously, and quickly shifted my eyes so I was looking everywhere but at him.

He lead me up the stairs of the church, and opened the door for me, but before I stepped through, he replied to my question, "I can just tell, that this is the start of a beautiful friendship."

His answer made me smile, and I couldn't help but feel that maybe he was right.
With a light shove I was inside the church, and there were many pairs of eyes looking directly at me. I immediately took a step back, and bumped straight into Henry.

"Woah there, don't be afraid no one's going to hurt you." He whispered in my ear, but considering we were in a room with werewolves, he might as well have yelled it.

Henry slowly guided me forward, through the middle isle, and towards the man who was on the stage, I could tell that the man in front of me was the alpha because I could feel his strength, which really surprised me because it was unusual for a small pack to have an alpha with this much strength, but I didn’t think much of it, I just kept my head down and kept walking forward.

"Henry, is this the trespasser?" The alpha boomed, sending a cold shiver down my spine, I couldn't help but be scared.

"Yes alpha"

I was now standing directly in front of him

"Everyone may go now, it is safe", and everyone collectively exhaled, then slowly rose up to leave. I could feel some people staring at me, but I didn't dare turn around to look, instead I shifted uncomfortably on my feet, until it was just me, Henry, the Alpha, and a woman who was standing beside Henry to the right of me.

"What is your name."

I promise, I was going to answer him, but for a reason completely unknown to me, words just wouldn't come out of my mouth. Thankfully Henry was my saving grace.

"Her name is Claire"

"Is she mute? Why can't she speak" he said with concern in his voice, and this is when the woman stepped forward, and I'm guessing she smacked him, because I heard a smacking sound, and If I wasn't so scared I know I would have laughed.

"Stop being so incentive Keith, can't you see she is scared. Sometimes I can't believe the moon goddess paired me up with you" she chastised.

"Yet you still love me" he bragged, and she chuckled in response and said lightheartedly, "like I have a choice." She took a couple steps closer to me and lifted my chin up, so I was looking directly into her eyes, and whatever she saw in them made her gasp, and take a step back.

That's when Henry spoke up, "It's uncanny isn't it?" The Luna placed a hand on her chest and blinked a couple of times before she answered, "Yeah, it is."

"What?!" barked the alpha, "what is it?"

"It's Claire's eyes" said Henry

"They're exactly like yours."
