🌟➢intro: this is a list of common mistakes that can affect your skin, and how to avoid them.

🌻➢over exfoliating:
over exfoliating removes the protective barrier that your skin has. your skin then can be exposed to environmental toxins & sun damage, exfoliate 2-3 times a week, max.

🍃➢sleeping with makeup on:
not removing your makeup for the night clogs your pores & oil glands, and can result in more breakouts. always take your makeup off before bed.

🐚➢not cleansing properly:
look for a cleanser that contains the right ingredients: things like antioxidants for protection, and salicylic acid to help clear your pores.

💋➢using dirty makeup brushes:
invest in a brush cleaner, especially for your foundation blush. keeping your brushes clean everyday will ensure no dirt &a old makeup build up that may affect your skin. try rinsing and washing your brush 3-4 times a week.

🌾➢wrong pillow case:
pillowcases contain a build up of residue from things like conditioner and scalp oil that can clog your pores. change your pillow case at least once a week.

🌸➢drying your skin out:
harsh products that dry up your skin can cause irritation and breakouts. look for a treatment that soothes while it targets your skin concern, and to always finish with a hydrating moisturizer.

💦➢taking too hot showers:
hot showers can strip your skin of essential moisture and healthy oils. I recommend taking long, lukewarm/slightly warm showers.

✈️➢picking at your face:
anytime you pick or pull at your skin, you are causing damage and creating irritation, scars, and wrinkles.
