how to improve your attitude

trust me, I'm a pessimist at heart, but I'm getting better-ish.

→don't compare yourself to others:
a lot of us compare ourselves to others in looks, life style, talent, etc. the key is not to compare and accept who you are +your personality. this will give you the power to control your own thoughts & rights.

→be yourself:
if you try to be like others & want what they have, you will never be satisfied. believe and find happiness with what you have, and what you can do to earn what you want.

→be truthful:
lying can make a very negative impact on your life, with it can come great regret telling the truth, yet you can feel the weight off your shoulders.

→forgive:
instead of getting angry and retaliating, try to understand the others' point of view, and their reasoning. besides, forgiving makes you the bigger person, if you don't let the other person get to you.

→exercise:
get your body to move, it releases chemicals in your brain to put you in a good mood. this is why many people go running/walking when angry, to clear their mind. run, do yoga, or even dance!

→random act of kindness:
do something nice for someone else, it can improve your attitude immediately.
⚬hold a door open for someone
⚬help someone with their groceries
⚬adopt a rescue pet and give it a good life
⚬help a family member with chores/homework

→stay positive around others:
you're not changing your entire personality by being positive. you're still you, and you can keep the traits of yourself you want. i'm not saying to throw out your sassy personality. being positive is an action, not a characteristic. comfort an upset friend, change the subject to something happier.

→a healthy diet:
certain foods can help you maintain positivity, and help your bodily functions alert chemicals to make you.. you.
