That night Kristen cannot sleep. Believe me, she has tried to, alas she hasn't been able to. Has she been scared to? She does not think so. Then what has gone wrong then?
Caffeine. That is what was wrong. Coffee and cigarettes have been helping our heroine in her battle of becoming a new person. Thanks to Michael, her boyfriend, she has been introduced to her new best friends. The third one - she has had to find all alone.
Kristen gently lifts herself from the hard bed she has been forced to sleep on and walks into the bathroom. Time to punish herself for eating and not being able to get rid of the food on time.
She digs her blade deep in her skin without caring that there's a chance for her to pass out in her own bathroom. It hurts. It stings. Alas it's way better than the emotional feeling bottled inside of her. It has always been that way.
When she finishes, she can't hold her tears and body trembling from pain anymore. She lets it out. Luckily, no one's sharing a trailer with her. That's the last thing she needs - her secret to be revealed.
