On the next morning, Kristen has woken up early. She wants to surprise her family with a breakfast, to compensate for every time she's hurt them for the past few days.
After setting the table, she begins to cut the fruit and vegetables, to put the bread in the toaster. She boils tea and coffee for her parents.
Just as she has finished with all the preparations and has even added a little flower on the table, her parents come downstairs and when they see the perfectly laid table . . .
Words cannot describe how proud they are of Kristen. They doubt her peers would do such a nice gesture for their parents.
"Oh, Kristen!" , they shower her with hugs and kisses.
Yeah, they love her when she cooks them breakfast, but when she just wants to be herself, they yell and punish her.
Why is that?
