Edward went with Bella to go meet her dad. Bella's dad is the sheriff of the town, I have never had encounter with him. I'm surprised Emmett hasn't been in handcuffs, or in the back of a cop car.  Can you imagine the humor ? A giant vampire pouting, in the back seat of a police car? Ah the magic of being a teenager. I sighed and looked around. My family and I are at the clearing that we discovered a couple of decades ago. Dad was making the bases, Jasper and Alice were throwing a ball. Cheaters! Mom and Rosalie were on a boulder, talking. And Emmett and I are fighting, or training if you will. Emmett swung his fist towards me, I quickly dodged, and jumped on his shoulders, I easily flipped him over on the ground. His face was in the dirt. The ground shook when he fell.

I smirked "Sorry, should've yelled timber!"

"Emily," Mom scolded. I looked at her. Moms face had a disapproving look to it. Whoops! "Be nice"

"Yeah, Emily be nice." Emmett smirked. He playfully tackled me to the ground. He smiled at me. I already new what he was thinking.

I narrowed my eyes. "Don't even think about it." He chuckled and started to tickle my side. "Emmett!" I laughed. "Emmett please stop!" I don't remember the time I felt. . . . well alive. I think my family is the only one that can do that.  Since I don't have a mate, my family keeps me busy.

He chuckled, "Nope!"

Mom gasped, "Edward and Bella are here!" Mom liked Bella, and to be honest she isn't that bad. Well for now. Mom looked at us, "Emmett let her up."

He chuckled, and stood me up after mussing my hair. I jumped up on Emmett's back. A peal of thunder echoed through the air. Edward and Bella walked up to us.

"Hi ya Bella" Emmett chuckled at the action's.

"Hi Bella." I said to her. She waved at us. Edward was looking down lovingly at Bella. I never saw Edward smile or, look like that.

Alice danced up to us "Its times"

Esme went up to Bella. "Glad you came here. We need an umpire."

I rolled my eyes. "She thinks we cheat. We being Emmett, Jasper, Edward, and dad."  The men rolled their eyes. I got a chuckle out of dad. You cant cheat in baseball.

"I know you cheat." She put Bella at home plate. "Call them as you see them Bella."

"Okay" She smiled.

I hopped down from Emmett's shoulders , and went out into the field, with my team. Which was Emmett, Edward, Alice and I. " Game on!" Alice was at the pitchers plate, while the three of us where spread out. Emmett was warming doing some kind of exercise. Edward and I watched in amusement. A lighting struck about a mile away. Ah baseball, my favorite sport. Rosalie was up first. Alice played with the ball in her hands and in one quick movement her hand flipped out, like a cobra when striking. Rose hit the ball between Edward and I. I ran after it, I sensed Edward behind me. We both raced for the ball. Edward threw his arm around my waist and turned me around so I couldn't grab the ball. He let me go and threw the ball through the forest. I pushed Edward down, and ran back out of the woods. Ha! I won there. "Eat my dead, hybrid, dust Edward. Sha boom."

Edward emerged from the woods, shaking his head. Dad was up next hitting the ball high. My two brothers, jumped and hit each other. Dad stopped on second base. Emmett pushed Edward. I watched my two brothers in awe. They are so annoying but I still love them. A gust of wind blew at me, and with it were three scents. They weren't human. I gasped the nomads.

"Stop!" Alice cried out. I ran to Bella, already protective. She gasped in surprise. My family caught up to speed and joined me. "They were leaving, but than they heard us!"

So maybe their curious? Yeah that's it! I rolled my eyes at my ignorant thought.

Edward Scowled, and growled. "They want to play."

With them selves ? I joked.

"Can you make it?" Carlisle asked.

"No not carrying."

Bella was looking back and forth between them. Looking more than lost. Edward was happy with her, and she brought happiness to our family, more love, and more hope. No way in hell I'm letting three vampires ruin it for us. They wont get in our way. I blinked letting my eyes turn wild. My eyes were a light orange. I don't care if I scare Bella, I'm protecting her. Bella gasped in surprise. She looked at my eyes in awe, like she fascinated by it.

Edward looked at Bella with the most saddest expression I have ever seen. I felt bad for them. "Bella I am so sorry I shouldn't never brought you here."

"What?" She asked nervously.

I looked at her "Just keep your hair down and stay behind Edward and I. Do not draw attention to yourself." Did I just ask Bella, not to draw attention to herself? My family and I formed a line. The seconds ticked by, as we waited for them to come. Hopefully its just the three of them, and not a whole army. Something tells me that they will have a red dot on Bella's chest, but little do they know that we are her Kevlar. I breathed, and snapped open my eyes. Lets play!
