"I never really asked.... why exactly are we going to school?"
"Well..." Quency said thoughtfully. "There's three things; One, we run for our lives and eventually get caught. Two we go to school and do one of two things; we either hide in plan view and hope that they don't risk anything, or a war could start and they risk it, to the point were they hold hostages until we show up in person. And the final, we stay at my place and die either way.
"Soo.. we're fucked." I said.
"Basically. I'm sorry we didn't train more."I turned my head and looked down "I'm scared.."
"I'm sorry..." i turned and looked over at him surprised "If only...."
"No.." I shook my head "it's not your fault, it's there's. Besides we could kick there asses." He shook his head and smiled at my absaulute lie.
My heart begain to pound as the bus approached our stop. Me and Quency got up, he took my hand "head held high, we can do this." He smiled at me reassuringly as we walked off the bus.
