Chapter 15

It got worse as the day passed, people were laughing everytime I turned my back. I thought there was a lame sign on my back, but nothing was out of the ordinary. I'd rather have a cheesy sign on my back, atleast I can get rid of it, but this....

By lunch time I went to my favorite spot. That's when I saw Leo.
What's he doing here?

He was sitting behind the old oak tree, facing the opposite way of the lunch tables and was facing the garden area, where the earth club had planted their seeds, along with the science classes, where they had taken the other half of the field. It's a very breath taking site.

"Hi" I begain

"Hey" he said

"May I sit here?" I asked

"Go ahead" he shrugged as he took one last bite of his sandwhich, while looking at the garden view.

"So..umm...." I paused to try and find a good way to word this "whatcha doin here?"

"Sorry was this..." he said turnig towards me.

"No! I-well its just that I don't usually see anyone over here that much, so I was just curious..." I said in a rush as I shyly looked away.

I turnd to find him staring at me with a weird expression that darkened.

Was that a flash of desperation?...anger?.... was it a warning? I just can't tell.

It kind of scared me as anger took over his perfectly emerald eyes.

I have know idea why he was looking at me like that, but everything about him made my senses scream Danger! Run! Now!

Before I could do just that, he grabbed my arm and gripped it so tightly, that it made my bones ache. I wouldn't be surprised if my arm snapped under his pressure.

His clutch got tighter "Ouch! that hurts!" I whinned and tried to pull back, but he held me in place.

He looked at me with cold, hard eyes. When did he become like this? And when did he change?

"Don't trust him!" He said in a rough, husky voice.

"Wa-what?"

"Whatever you do, don't trust him!" he gripped tighter, which made me wince at the pain.

"Wh-who?" I knew who, when Leo snapped his head around as Quency came quickly over.

"Let her go."he said in an angry voice, that seemed to make the earth beneath my feet quake and shiver in fear.

Leo let go, but slowly, he got up and stared Quency down, without a hint of fear.

"Boys!" A girl called "why'd you run off! And Leo we were looking for you!.." She stopped yelling as she realized who was here.

"Hey Lea" I smiled, maby she won't be too embarrassed to hang out with me anymore. Shockingly she just ignored me and turned toward the two boys and the rest of her possy that had joined us.

"Lets go boys, everyone wants to know who Lea's gonna take for her date!" Lisa said excitedly. Lisa's crew grabbed them and left back down the hill, dragging a laughing and blushing Lea behind.

"You know those two are wayyy above your league." Lisa said.

She turned and faced me. She flipped her blond hair to the back of her shoulder. "Either way loser you'll never have either of them. Lea will have one and i'll have the other..it's a win win"she laughed. 'Well for most of us anyways" she smiled a crooked smile.

"Yeah right. Their not toys that you can just play with, they're real people!" I yelled furiously "Your plan will fail! And I'll make sure it does!"
She shrugged as if she wasn't listening or caring for that matter.

She came closer "Listen here" she said in a sweet and threatening tone "I can destroy you, so don't test me, I can and I will turn your life into a living hell!" She shrugged and looked at me with a nonchalant look, as if she was talking about how nice the freakin' weather was! "So back off if you know what's good for you" she turned and walked casually away down the hill.

I never wanted to hurt someone soo bad, my heart raced and the world shook with it.
