Keeping a tight hold of Bojan's hand, Vanessa smiled as they walked around the gardens and enjoyed the quiet while they could; it wouldn't be long until the baby was born and Vanessa couldn't help but hope it all went well.

There was no way in knowing how Bojan would react to having a baby sister, there was still every chance he wouldn't take the idea of sharing his parents with another person well.

"Mama," Bojan babbled happily, he toddled alongside his mother enjoying the peace that they were enjoying; it had been a strange week for him especially with Vanessa home more now.

Having finished up her royal duties to take maternity leave, Vanessa had made it her mission to spend more time with the children before their baby sister was born in December.

It was going to take some time for them all to adjust to the fact that they were going to have another baby around; everyone was getting ready and Vanessa knew that people were watching and waiting for her daughter to be born.

Vanessa turned her attention back to Bojan, she loved having the time to play with him and she hated that she didn't often have more of it but she was Queen now and she was doing what she could to make the country better for her children.

Nora was spending a lot more time with Olalla and Isabel since they had moved into their apartment in the city, Fernando had done his best to make them comfortable since there was no sign of Aaron coming around.

It had surprised Vanessa how willing Olalla was to end her marriage but she guessed the other woman hadn't been happy in a long time if she was so willing to do so.

Olalla had quickly settled into life in Andorra and had found it easy to move away from London, she had even found herself a small part-time job at a bakery to support herself especially since she refused to take any money from Fernando.

As far as Olalla was concerned, Fernando had done enough for her and Isabel since they had moved to Andorra; she wanted to be able to stand on her own feet for once and was determined to prove that she could do this.

Vanessa chewed on her lip, she had no idea what was going to happen over Christmas but she hoped that everything would run smoothly for them all with the baby due around that time.

The last thing that Vanessa wanted was for her little girl to arrive on Christmas day, she feared what might happen and she knew how crazy that would make everything when they had so much to do on that day.

At thirty-one weeks pregnant, Vanessa knew just how fast the next few weeks would fly by and she knew that whatever happened Fernando would be by her side and they'd welcome their daughter into the world together.

"Papa," Bojan squealed pulling away from his mother and rushing towards Fernando, a big smile on his face as he held up his hands wanting to be picked up and cuddled.

Fernando ducked down and picked the little boy up, he had just returned from an event and had been a little concerned to hear that his very pregnant wife was wandering around the gardens in a asymmetric hem jumper, jeans and a pair of ankle boots.

The last thing that he wanted was for Vanessa getting ill while she was pregnant, Fernando watched as she slowly walked over to him; he couldn't help but feel protective after what had happened with Stefan.

Biscuit was quickly on Vanessa's heel, he had been following her and Bojan around the garden enjoying a little bit of a walk and enjoying the sun while it was out.

"How about we go inside and have some hot chocolate?" Fernando suggested holding Bojan close, his eyes watching Vanessa knowing that he would never forgive himself if something ever happened to her or the children.

Watching Vanessa closely, Fernando wondered when their little girl would be making an appearance; the midwife hadn't been able to tell them much but that their daughter would be born around Christmas.

Everything was in place already for when she was born and Fernando knew that the world would still take an interest when Vanessa gave birth; he just hoped that things would be a little calmer than when Bojan had been born.

"I'm fine," Vanessa reassured spotting the look on Fernando's face, she knew that he was constantly worrying about her and she wished that he wouldn't; everything was fine for once and she hoped it stayed that way.

The only problem that Vanessa saw coming was her mother pretending that she hadn't walked out on her again; she was bound to show her face again especially with another grandchild due soon.

Vanessa sipped on her hot chocolate and watched Fernando, there was no way in hell was she just going to forgive and forget what her mother had done to her; she was better off without her and she always had been.

"I know," Fernando murmured sitting down next to her, he looked over at Bojan who was happily playing with Biscuit; he was being overprotective when it came to his family but he just wanted everything to run smoothly.

Things hadn't been easy since George had passed away and with Elizabeth being far from helpful, Vanessa had found a lot of pressure on her shoulders when they'd barely gotten to enjoyed married life or time with their son.

"I just worry Nessa," Fernando murmured kissing her, he smiled at the taste of chocolate on her lips and he knew that he wasn't going to allow anything to mess up their time together.

Their family was important and with another baby on the way, Fernando couldn't help but feel like something was going to happen; he had tightened up security around his wife and children wanting to protect them.

"I know you do," Vanessa replied gently, she wished that she could read his mind and reassure him that it would all be fine; they were doing so well right now and nothing big was coming up any time soon.

The couple were silent knowing that everything was slowly falling into place, for the first time in a very long time they actually felt like they could relax without having to worry about anything ruining it.

"Nora will be home from school soon," Vanessa murmured looking at the clock, she hadn't even started on dinner yet but she guessed that Fernando would only complain if she tried to do too much.

They were trying to keep things calm for the children's sake, the last thing they wanted was for anything to upset their routine especially when there was going to be so much happening around Christmas.

"I'll call the cook and get her to make something," Fernando insisted wanting Vanessa to rest, he kissed his wife before getting to his feet and moving away; he had no intentions of letting her stress herself out.

Vanessa watched him go and sighed, she leant back on the couch and chewed on her lip knowing that the holidays were only going to make things more tense for them; there were so many events that Vanessa should be doing but couldn't because she was expecting.

Fernando would have so much on his shoulders since he was King Consort and Vanessa worried that it would all be too much for him; she didn't want him tiredly himself out trying to do everything.
