Tegan's P.O.V
March 2013

~~~
Monday.
My first day of school. I will be that weird new girl who arrives in March, but nonetheless, I am excited. Fortunately, I have a school uniform, so dressing will take no energy.
Facing the mirror, I examine my face. A small pimple is starting to break through under my nose and its friend stands confidently on my chin. My hair is the most common colour: blonde. My eyes are green and surprisingly, I like them. I use a comb to divide my hair into two equal parts. It takes about ten minutes for me to french braid both sides.
Downstairs at the bar, a plate of eggs, bacon and hash browns waits for me with a cuppa orange juice. After finishing, I rinse my plate off, loading it into the dishwasher.
I see I have about fifteen minutes before we must leave. I decide to ring the boys quickly. Alphabetically, Harry's name is first on my contact list, so I call him.
"Ello Tegan!" Harry greets, his face arriving on my screen.
"Hazza!" I wave.
"Look Liam it's Tegan," Harry shoves his phone in Liam's face.
"Tegan, ready for school?" He asks.
"Yep," I extend my arm, showing my uniform. "Where's the lads?"
"Uh, lets see, Zayn's sleep, Louis's makin' a kettle of tea and Niall's in the toilets." Liam tells me
"Tegan, are you excited to make some friends?" Harry speaks up.
"Course! A wee nervous." I admit. "How's tour?"
"It's been brilliant!" Harry exclaims. "Massive crowds, massive energy. A wicked time, wish you were here!"
"Awe, I wish I was as well. Miss you lads." I tell him, pouting my lip out.
"Tegan, it's time to go!" Adelaide's pops into my room.
"I've got to go." I wave. "Tell the others I said ello!"
"Will do, have a lovely day sweetie!" Liam tells me.
"Don't get caught under the bleachers on your first day!" Harry insists.
I'm sat in my third class, mathematics. My teacher is male and has a voice that drones on and on while lecturing. My desk touches corners with the desk of a boy who has brown hair gelled into a pre-teen spike.
Class ends, I stand from my desk, grabbing my massive binder.
"Hey, stranger, I'm Nathan."
I turn my head up, meeting the friendly smile of my desk mate. I notice one of his eyes is blue while the other is brown.
"Tegan," I stick my hand out.
He gives me a lazy shake.
"Your schedule?" He asks, well, more like demands, but I hand it over. "Wow, we have homeroom and English together. We'll be pals before you know it."
