"Lou, if you like him, just say so!" I glared at her.

Lou Ellen shook her head really quickly. "No way, Will. That's the worst possible thing to do."

"Why?" I asked.

"Then he will know that I like him."

"That's kinda the point!"

Best friends argue. A lot. Lou Ellen has been mine since I first moved to Long Island from Georgia. So, naturally, NOW she tells me of her insane crush on that one kid who never shows up to class. Of course, I wasn't one to talk. I had just told her that I was pansexual last night. 

I had to admit, the guy was cute. Raven hair that fell into his dark eyes, and his black hoodie totally worked for him. The jeans were a bit too goth for me, but he pulled it off.

"I don't want him to be embarrassed."

I huffed. "Well, do whatever you want. Still-"

"IDEA! How about you go up to him and talk to him for me?"

I shrugged.

"GO!"

I shrugged again, turned on my heal, and walked away. I approached him, but he was paying zero attention to me. I struggled to remember his name.

"Hey... Nico?"

He glanced up at me, then went back to doodling something in his notebook. "Yeah?"

"Hi... I just wanna sa-- hey!" I snapped my fingers in his face.

He looked up, looking half-amused, half-annoyed. 

"Hi, I wanted to tell you that my friend has a cru... a crus..."

I drifted off, lost his eyes. He was hotter than I remembered, his brown eyes brought out by his olive complexion. Had he always had those freckles?

"Your friend, what?" he asked. Did he just tilt his head? That is so cute.

I shook my head. Hard. "Yeah, my friend..."

I looked back at his face. I couldn't say a word.

"My friend wanted to say hi! Bye! Thanksforyourtime!" I hurried my sentence, then speed off back towards Lou Ellen at the speed of light. I could hear Nico chuckling lightly.

"So?" Lou Ellen looked at me. "What did he say?"

"He... umm..." I murmured. "Oh dang. I forgot to mention that you like him."

Lou looked a bit ticked. "You FORGOT?"

"Well, yeah..." I rubbed the back of my neck.

"You suck, Will. No, you swallow, Solace. What exactly did you say to him?"

"I said 'hi'."

"Seriously?"

"Yeah... oh, dang."

"What?"

"Nothing," I lied.

I have a freaking crush on my friend's crush.
