Get The Girl

You were Ellie's best friend. She invited you to dinner and you heard Alec was going as well. You and Alec got to Ellie's house around the same time.
"Didn't know you'd be here" Alec says in his thick scottish accent.
"Yeah she invited me along" You reply
"Ah" he replied and then Ellie opened the door.
"I didn't know what to bring some I brought wine" he hands her the wine
"And flowers" he handed her the flowers
"And chocolate" Alec nods. Ellie laughs "Okay well come on inside" we both walk inside.
"I'll show you to the dining room" Ellie smiles and shows us. We sat down and got the food and wine.
"So do you have a wife?" Ellie's husband asked Alec.
"Uh no, no I don't" Alec gulps and drinks some wine.
"Husband, (Y/N)?" He asked
"Nope, no one likes me" You laugh
"Oh don't say that" Alec said
"To be honest it's true" You shrug.
"I don't think so" Alec said as he drank more wine.
"I'm gonna go get the desert" Ellie smiles and leaves the room. Her husband follows her.
"Why won't they kiss already?" Ellie asked her husband.
"I'm wondering the same thing" He laughs.
Ellie peaks in the dining room
"Alec may I speak with you alone?"
"Uh yeah sure" he replied
They both walk into the hallway.
"What is it miller?" Alec says
"When are you gonna kiss her already?" Ellie said
"What?" He says
"You know what I mean" Ellie crossed her arms. "You both are perfect for eachother. Ask her out" Ellie pushes him
"Miller.."
"Go! Alec" She pushed him.
Alec walked out a bit awkwardly and sat next to you.
"Do you like working with us?" He asked you with a smile.
"Yeah it's really nice" You smiled.
"Hey (Y/N)?" Alec asked
"Yeah Alec?" You ask taking a sip of your wine. You turn your face to face him and he kissed you out of the blue.
"What was that for?" You whisper against his lips.
"Go out with me?" He asked
"Yes" You smile.
