Alec Hardy Preferences

Wake Up

Alec went to bed sometime ago, you didn't notice but it was already 2 A.M. and you've been binge watching your favorite netflix show. You decided now was the time to finally go to bed. As soon as you shut off the tv and got off the couch and turned back to grab your phone you hear gasping and crying coming from the other room. You run in there quickly seeing Alec start to sit up.
"Where were you?" Alec asked with a tear stained face.
"I'm sorry Alec I didn't realize how late I stayed up" You felt bad and you sat on the bed.
"Are you coming to bed now?" He asked
"Yeah love" You nod. You go get your stuff and get ready and then get into bed with your boyfriend.
You cuddle up against him and lay your head on his chest.
"Your still having nightmares?" You ask
"Yeah.." He replied after awhile.
"Don't worry about them, think of something better" You try to calm him by drawing shapes on his chest with your finger but you don't think that's helping. He doesn't reply, but you know his eyes are still open and he is very awake. You both lay there in the dark in silence. It was very awkward and you honestly didn't know what to say to Alec to make him feel better. You knew he didn't feel good about the dream and wasn't going to go to bed anytime soon. You get up from him and he immediately goes
"Where are you going?"
"Just to get some water I'll be back" You smile and get some water. You come back and cuddle with him again. He wraps his arms around you and doesn't say anything.
To calm him and to stop the awkward silence you start to sing "Lavender's blue,
Dilly dilly,
Lavenders green.

When I am King,

That told me so" You kept the song going for awhile until eventually you fell asleep singing and so did Alec.
