I Need Her Back

-*Adrien's POV*-

I collapsed on my bed and hid under the dark covers to prevent an interrogation and advice session with Plagg.
Sure, I loved my kwami and his obsession with cheeses was starting to get just the least bit bearable, but knowing that Y/n had literally broke up with me was enough for him to add an extra hour of advice. I shoved my head underneath the pillow and prayed that Plagg would just grab his stupid cheese off my desk and eat it in peace without bothering to open his small little mouth to let out some annoyingly correct advice for me.
         But he didn't.
And why should he? I literally cried the entire way home, but you couldn't separate the tears from the rainwater dripping down my face.
Instead, Plagg ignored the cheese and flew over to my bed squeezing in between the small space between my head and the pillow. I heard him sigh in the dark.
"Adrien, I know this may seem like a stupid question, but, if you truly loved Y/n, then why did you make out with Ladybug/Marinette all those nights instead of with Y/n? You know you can't have both, right?"
That question was stupid. But he had a point, and to be honest, I had no idea how to answer it. "I don't know, Plagg. I'm in love with Y/n, so I don't understand why I went to Marinette,"
"Are you sure that you know you want Y/n?" Plagg asked. I sat up and threw the pillow across the room, throwing the covers off of me and making them fall to the floor.
"What the heck is that supposed to mean?"
"Nothing. But you know how broken Y/n is, and I can sense that you want to do whatever you can in your power to mend her. But making out with someone else behind her back... Now is that really your idea of helping her? She's probably crying herself to sleep now. You hurt her, Adrien. I just hope you know that."
I looked down at my ring.
"What do I do now, Plagg? I can't believe I'm that stupid." Plagg flew up in front of my face and hovered there for a second.
"You're not stupid, Adrien. You just seem to have the knowledge of how to act stupid. Now, if you really want to get her back, you have to apologize. That's supposed to be priority number one, and if you think that means shoving her exes into a water fountain and scream 'I'm the one for you!' Then that just proves that you are stupid."
I watched Plagg fly over to the cheese on my desk and sighed.
At least that conversation wasn't as bad as the other ones.

-*Your POV*-

Mom had just pulled the car up to school when she turned around and looked at you. She never usually dropped you off at school but today she had grabbed the car keys off the counter and asked you if you were ready to go.
"Y/n..." She said slowly. "You know you can come to me if anything wrong is going on... Right? Because I'm here for you, I'm here to help you."
This must be because of last night when you came home sobbing. You guessed you would be kind of worried about your child too if that happened.
"Mom, I'm fine. Trust me. Nothing is going on," you did your best at telling the lie. Luckily, she seemed to buy it. There was no way you would be able to tell her about Luna Moon. And Nightmare. And how you were lying to her everyday and you still were probably suicidal. The quote on your phone probably described how you were feeling the best.

             "Well, okay then, Honey

"Well, okay then, Honey. Have a great day!" She smiled. "See you later!" You jumped out of the car and waved goodbye as she drove off.
As you turned around, ready to face another stupid day of school, you rammed into someone. You shook your head, and looked up to see who it was.
"Adrien?" You couldn't help but shrill. Adrien smiled softly, his eyes hopeful. You felt a burst of anger inside of you, then a whole lot of fear. You shoved past him. But he kept following.
"Adrien... I told you to stay away from me... I'm dangerous." You whisper.
You're not dangerous.
You stopped abruptly. Who the heck said that? Did Adrien? "What did you say?" You asked him.
"I... Didn't say anything. Y/n, are you okay?" Adrien asked, walking in front of you. Trying to avoid eye contact, you stared at the ground and dared the voice to say something else.
You're nothing but a FREAK. A freak who hears voices, a freak who's got an alter ego... You're NOTHING. Just a stupid FREAK.
You heard a tiny laugh and you staggered backwards. Where was that coming from? Adrien grabbed onto you.
"Do you hear that?" You asked him and watched him shake his head no.
The laugh became louder until you realized...
It was coming from somewhere in your head.
That's right, Y/n. It's just you and me. No one else can hear me, just you, you FREAK. Hope you enjoy my stay! Now you have someone to talk to...
You grasped onto your head, squeezing your eyes shut, begging it to go away. "Y/n, are you alright? Answer me." Adrien pleaded, his grip on you tightening.
You groaned and broke free from his grasp, starting up the stairs. "I'm fine," you lied. "Leave me alone."
And you made it all the way up the stairs and into the bathroom until you stared at yourself in the mirror. You tenderly touched your face. Your h/c hair, e/c eyes... You didn't know if you were pretty. You had never thought of it before.
No, you're not beautiful. You're the exact opposite, freak.
The voice laughed as it faded away leaving you crying at yourself in the mirror.
A little childhood rhyme jingled in the back of your head.
Mirror mirror on the wall,
Tell me that I'm...
Beautiful.
