Chapter 17: First date from Hell... pt. 1

Kane's P.O.V.

My intent was to keep Helena all day then take her out on our date, but I had some important business to take care of. Since I had not gone with Ace last night to check our firearms shipment, I needed to go this morning to make sure everything was running smoothly. Overseeing all the dealings keeps me busy though outsiders think that it is a piece of cake. I make sure to know everything that is going on and make sure that if anyone steps out of line, they will pay for their mistakes.

I have something special planned for my princess, though I know she will try her hardest to hate it. Everything I do she will hate and a part of me does not give a fuck. I do things my way, always have and always will. I have never had a girlfriend or never gone out of my way to make a girl feel special. My routine was to screw them a few times if they were good then move on with the next slut that threw herself at me. Which were many.

A part of me wants her to be impressed by my abilities to actually be a good boyfriend. Whatever that means. I know it will probably take a long time to act somewhat human like she says. If I can act like I have a heart but with her, I will try.

There is something about her that drew me in the night I first saw her. Yeah, she is beautiful and a smart ass. She rejected me from the second I told her in the diner she owed me for saving her life and when I kidnapped her, she fought me every step of the way. A week later she fights me even more and I even had to punish her last night for her defiance and for saying that bitch boy's name while I was tasting her. I swear it was not my intention to hurt her that badly. I blacked out, seeing only red and the hatred for her ex surfaced within me. She was thinking of him, I could not care less if she loved him. Helena is with me and will always be with me from now on. She has to face the fact that she is mine now and will never be his again. I will kill him before that ever happens. He may have her heart now, but I will have the rest of her -- all of her.

On the way to the restaurant that I made reservations for she was quiet which annoyed the hell out of me.

"Are you just going to sit there and not say anything to me princess?" I ask looking at her from the corner of my eye.

She says nothing looking out the window. I hate being ignored.

"Helena! Am I not asking you a question?" Gritting as I try to maintain my anger. I swear she likes to piss me off.

"I did not realize I am allowed to speak. You know, since I lost the ability to be my own person because of you. I did not think you wanted me to interact." She retorts with a shrug.

Oh – she is such a smart ass.

I chuckle darkly placing my hand on her thigh squeezing it hard making her flinch in pain. We are at a red light now.

"I never said you could not speak, and you are your own person. If you think that then maybe I should treat you like you are my submissive and I your Dom. I like playing games especially with what belongs to me." my hand goes up to the inside of her leather shorts to squeeze her core.

"Maybe you are a secret freak that likes to be tied up and spanked while I fuck you senseless. Huh, princess?" Squeezing her core tighter I hear her whimper placing her hand over mine to pull it away.

"Get.your.fucking.hand.of.mine.Helena! I told you, I can touch you in any way I want when I want. Got it?" My eyes burn through hers. If she wants to play hard to get, then I can play all day. She is not going to win.

Her hand slowly moves away from mine keeping her eyes on me.

"Good girl. You need to learn Helena. Do not ever push me away from you." Glaring at her I pull my hand away then continue to drive when the light turns green.
