Chapter 22: Drunk

Maddy's pov

I honestly didn't know what to do with myself ever since Calum walked out that door.

I just sat in my room thinking about what I did wrong.

I was pissed..

What the Fuxk did I even do to him?

And the sad thing was all I could think about was if Calum was ok...

I know I shouldn't be, but I couldn't help it:/

Calum was my best friend..

My phone started ringing, interrupting my thoughts.

I looked at the screen so see it was Calum.

What the Fuxk did he want:/

Maybe he was calling to apologize

I hesitated to answer but did anyway.

"What do you want cal?" I questioned with a sigh.

"Maddy, it's Michael" I heard Michael say.

"Michael? Why are you calling from Calum's phone?" I questioned confused on what was going on.

"Listen you gotta come get Calum.. He's really fuxking drunk and he's loosing it" he stated.

"What do you mean loosing it?" I questioned, worried about Calum.

"He's saying some weird shet dude.. Just come get him" he begged me.

"I'll be there in ten" I sighed before hanging up.

I grabbed my keys and rushed out the door.

I drove to Michaels as fast as I could.

When I got there I seen Michael standing outside waiting for me.

"What happened?" I asked nervously.

"He's just a mess Maddy you gotta talk to him." He stated I could see the worried look in his eyes.

He led me into his house and I found Calum sitting on his couch with his head in his hands.

"Calum.." He quickly looked up as soon as he heard my voice.

"Maddy, What are you doing here?" He smiled as he seen I was there.

"I came to pick you up" I stated, not knowing what to say.

I wasn't going to tell him Michael called me and told me he was drunk off his ass.

"Good I can't wait to go home I'm tired as Fuxk" he said getting up and making his way to the door.

I followed behind him and stopped to whisper to Michael that I'd text him later.

Calum was stumbling so I had to help him walk to the car.

He climbed into the passenger seat and I shut the door.

Walking around the car, getting in the driver's seat.

I turned on the radio, fall for you by secondhand serenade was playing.

I backed out of Michael's driveway trying not to sing along.

Calum was silent for the ride home when we pulled into his driveway I got out helping him inside.

"You know I can walk right Maddy?" Calum laughed.

I looked at him, ignoring his comment as I continued to help him inside.

When we got inside I lead him to the couch so he wouldn't fall over.
